Big meadows is always neat clean and well maintained. I missed the staff driving by and checking sites and reminding folks about threat of bears with food left out. I Assume due to cuts. The staff seemed a bit stressed at check in.

Great fire pit and table with nearby restroom and utility sink. Everything was clean and staff were friendly. Campsites were full and same with little
Privacy.

It was nice to be able to get a hot shower after hiking all day.
Just make sure you have $5 in quarters for the 10 minutes. There are a couple of coin machines that take $5 bills and they
were in working order.

We were in the A loop and liked the forested nature of the campground. Everyone, from the ranger at the main gate to the park, the ranger at the campground check-in and the campground hosts were very friendly and helpful. We did take advantage of the evening star program and found it informative and enjoyable. One of our favorite campground experiences.

lovely time... BUT wish there was a NO pets section, Not really happy with the digital reservations - it does not allow for spontaneity, and cell service is spotty in the mountains - if you have it at all - not looking forward to going cashless. enjoy seeing the NPS employees as they have more knowledge/education and insight than people just in it for a job.

First time camping for a few days in this campground. It was great. When we arrived it was full, and I was wondering what that would sound like, but it was fairly quiet during the days and the nights was extremely quiet. The amenities are amazing, and the showers/bathrooms are clean. Great proximity to many hikes also. I only wish it wasn't so popular b/c we wanted to go back for another few days in October but it was all booked up. Oh well, we'll try again next year.
