Beautiful location in the mountains. Quiet. Serene. Gorgeous fall color. PLUS - easy access to the lodge for lunch, dinner, relaxing by the fire.

This was a great campsite! It felt tucked away and private (as much as it could be in such an open space) but was also very close to the bathrooms.

My Senior Park card would have given me access to the park for free, Turned out, everyone was getting in for free so that wasn't much benefit. I thought the campsite would be free but instead it was half price. that was disappointing. The Fall colors at Big meadows were non-existent. If I had known, I would have camped further South. Due to the weather, I couldn't enjoy the dark skies. It was cold, rainy and foggy the entire trip. I might have stayed longer if it hadn't been so unpleasant.

Great to see the campground was clean and the camp store open during the shutdown. Kudos to all the workers who showed up! Thank you!

We enjoyed 4 days of hiking with our dog, Old Rag was our favorite hike, but our 4 legged friend had to stay at the campsite that day. Deer everywhere! My husband and I enjoyed a very peaceful get away.

Shenandoah national Park is a great place to camp. There are many trails that you can hike in so many animals to see. I had a wonderful time while I was there but to be honest I’ve been there many many times over the years. Thanks for another wonderful experience!
