Big Meadows Campground is an amazing place for families! We loved the wide open meadow filled with deer, the beautiful mountain views, and the peaceful atmosphere. The campground is clean, well-maintained, and close to kid-friendly hikes like Dark Hollow Falls and Story of the Forest. The camp store, visitor center, and nearby overlooks make everything super convenient. A perfect spot for relaxing, exploring, and making memories with family, highly recommended!

Great facilities and perfect location! It's centrally located in the park, so we were able to get to many good hiking spots with ease: Dark Hollow Falls, Hawksbill, and Bearfence to name a few. Weekends do get busy and if you prefer quiet - be sure to book one of the generator free sites (a great option!)

Great site. The campground is beautiful and well maintained. Staff are courteous and professional. Please be considerate of others when you camp here. Please slow down for little humans and wildlife.
