As always a great experience. We stop here when ever in the area. Feels like camping should be.
Do wish they had the budget to better maintain the park. Doing well with what they have.

This is a wonderful place to camp It is isolated and rustic but the facilities were cared for and the staff was helpful We were able to leave our small RV for 3 days and walk to trails we wanted to hike

The location was great! For campers who are used to camping in primitive campsites, this campsite is definitely a step above with restrooms, showers, laundry, and a camp store. Our family regularly camps at private family owned campsites, so our expectations were not met at the park campground. The amenities are not nearby and we had to drive to the shower/laundry/store area. Even the restrooms and trash bins were a further walk than we are used to, and a bit inconvenient of a walk to the restrooms in the middle of the night. There was no host around to speak to when the restrooms were in need of a cleaning. And once nightfall comes the campsite is very dark. The most disappointing and shocking point for us was that showers cost $5 for 10 minutes. For our family with a number of children, this ends up being costly. Really a nice campground to stay at, but depends on your expectations and what you're used to.

Nicely shaded location with a good layout. Shrubs and trees are positioned to give a reasonable amount of privacy. Located conveniently across from bathroom facilities and a water station. Honestly, probably one of the better sites in the entire campground. We had an excellent time!

As always everything was great at this campground. We appreciated the simplified hours of the camp store; 10a - 8p every day (rather than trying to remember weekday vs weekend hours). The showers are nice and give the full time allotment for the quarters you put in.
The meadow was absolutely overrun by Spotted Lantern Flies. Whereas we saw a few last year at the wayside, this year you could not walk through the meadow without being landed on by dozens and some of the trees had quite large swarms (thousands) climbing up them. This too shall pass, but was startling to see how many there were.
