Big Meadow campground facilities are in nice shape - bathrooms, etc. Plus, BM wayside has wifi, and the BM lodge is nice for coffee. Campsites are close together and visible to each other. For tent camping, I would choose the walk-in sites in the future.

Even though the weather didn’t cooperate it was still a great time - campsite was nice and having the restaurant in the lodge and the taproom (especially the taproom) really made the experience great!

Big Meadows is the pinnacle of camping in national parks. With excellent amenities, the serious camper and the laid back camper can find a lot for them here.

This was a special place. The park is beautiful, and the campsite was quiet, private and lovely.

Packed labor day but the personnel were super professional, friendly, helpful and accomodating. The campground roads need to be resurfaced…very badly. And the restroom next to our site (in the “no generator area”) was so LOUD you could hear it 4 camping loops away! Please restore funding to our treasured National Parks and FIX THEM!!

Very nice campground! We stayed in the generator-use loop with our 29 ft 5th wheel & loved it. Limited hours to top off our batteries worked fine. Close to trails & enjoyed putting boots on the ground on the Appalachian Trail. Enjoyed the Visitor Center & Wayside. If passing through this area in the future, definitely would stay here again.
