What Guests Are Saying

Sun Retreats New Point has a clean and well-maintained park with great service, making it a pleasant environment for visitors. However, concerns have been raised about customer service, inconsistent enforcement of rules, and pricing disparities between site types. Additionally, some campers have reported issues with site drainage and overcrowding since the property was acquired by Sun Retreats.

Terrible company. They do not care about any customer complaints, issues or concerns. They have rules and regulations, but do not enforce them causing many safety hazards. Unethical pricing model. Sites with no beach access, no water views and considerably smaller sites, pay just as much as the premium sites that have large area, private beachs, personal beach access and full water view.
They do a terrible job of maintaining the beach. Again making people that pay premium prices deal with all the nonsense.

There is a laundry list of issues here. Way to much to touch on here. Please do your research first and find out what others pay, site locations, space etc. Before you sign anything for a seasonal site. The company that manages is just greed and doesn't care after the fact.

The place sucks ever since sun retreats purchased the property. Campsites are too close together now and they no longer allow for people to pay to stay for days/weeks. You have to outright pay a lot rent of a year just to use it maybe one or twice during the summer months

Our camper is in A2 which one it rains it's nothing but a lake. All it needs is a few loads of dirt handsome grass seed to fix the problem. People that had the sight before us said they had the same problem and that's why they moved to a different site. The park is clean the service is great it's a nice park just needs a little work.

2021 was our first season at New Point and was very memorable. The management and staff were awesome. We enjoyed meeting all the campers and made some life long friends. The park is exceptionally clean, the beach is amazing and the entertainment is always a blast. Looking forward to 2022. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

We just spent the weekend at this wonderful campground. In my opinion we had the best spot in the campground (A1). It was a seasonal spot and is unfortunately going to be a seasonal spot again soon. I feel we really lucked out. Most of all - the staff and all the fellow campers were the friendliest people ever! It was a beautiful beach and nice pool area. Great restaurant (Matthew's Grill) that delivers there.
