Leeman Field RV Park and Campground, Pennington, Virginia

Nice park! Hidden gem nestled in the valley, surrounded by mountains. I have been visiting the area for nearly 20 years and only discovered this park 2 weeks ago. Although not spectacular in regards to facilities, the simplicity and geographic beauty of the park make it a very pleasant experience. The park has a campground, picnic areas, playgrounds, baseball facilities and a pool. However, my favorite park feature is the paved walking/bike path which follows along the river. My partner and I love to walk the path, which includes a nice bridge to cross the river. Today was my second visit during vacation to the area. After now finding this great "hidden gem" of a park, I will certainly visit again when vacationing in the area!

Though we only stayed here as a stopover on our way home to Maryland, it was a really nice little park. Clean, great long pull-through site (#4), with full hook-ups. Level too, so we didn't have to unhitch, which was perfect! Quiet neighbors, and a very active sports/community/fairgrounds/park made it an interesting place with beautiful scenery too!

Fantastic place for children and riding bikes. A paved bike trail through a disc golf course right to the parking lot of the Food Lion.

Fun little disc golf course..probably best suited for intermediate players..but very doable for beginners..there are some water holes..!! The park offers a bunch of activities..and has a beautiful fishing stream.

Great time had a bite to eat and caught some fish!!
