Stony Fork Campground is a serene and beautiful spot, surrounded by forest and featuring a clean creek with multiple bridges. Hosts Kim and Joe are praised for their friendliness and dedication to maintaining the campground. While the facilities, particularly the bathhouses, could use updates, the overall experience is enjoyable, emphasizing peace and nature, with many guests expressing their desire to return.

Great little campground, with peaceful woods and nice nature walk that connects to a longer hike. Only complaint is that most sites did not have water, and although there is water outside of each bathhouse, the spigots are unthreaded, so you cannot fill an RV tank with them. Bathhouses were rustic, but clean. Camground very quiet and well-kept.

Great gem of a campground. Several smaller bathhouses located on the property. Convenient to several nearby cities, breweries, wineries, etc. Sites are generally good sized. Several with a lot of separation between them. Limited number with both water and electric. Dump station is easy to access the street from the entrance. One mile nature trail that is a great hike on site. It link to a longer trail.
Hope you like wildlife. Saw deer eating in open camp sites several times and came across more every time we hiked the nature trail
Definitely plan on going back.

We loved visiting Stony Fork! We had wonderful assistance from the park service while we made our reservation, as we explained we would be arriving very late at night. The park service was very accommodating, and we even got a personal call from the campground host of Stony Fork assuring us that a late check in would be just fine. The campground was easy to find, even late at night. It’s such a pretty and quiet campground; we had plenty of room and privacy, the bathrooms were easy to locate, and we even got a chance to see our campground host in the morning. Thank you Stony Fork for being a perfect stopping place during a big road trip, we really look forward to coming back again sometime!
