Beautiful campground in the fall. Small and peaceful. Hosts were very kind and even gave us some firewood.

Stony Fork Campground is a serene and beautiful spot, surrounded by forest and featuring a clean creek with multiple bridges. Hosts Kim and Joe are praised for their friendliness and dedication to maintaining the campground. While the facilities, particularly the bathhouses, could use updates, the overall experience is enjoyable, emphasizing peace and nature, with many guests expressing their desire to return.

Nice clean campground with plenty of room at the campsites very good for nature lovers.
Big Walker lookout is a beauty place to visit very scenic drive. Dutch Pantry has a lot of very good food, candy, ice cream and more. Highly recommend Stoney Fork campground for a adventure to enjoy. Fall was a beautiful time to visit.

This place is a gem. Host, Steve, was great. Remote feel. Quiet nights. Dark skies. Clean restrooms. Connection to trails.
All of this and only 15- 20 minutes to a well stocked town. This is now my favorite Forest Service campground. On second thought, it’s now my favorite overall campground and that says a lot because I used to run a local campground when I was young. And I am still pretty biased about it.

The spacious campsite had a level, paved parking spot for the camper and lots of room around the picnic table and fire pit.
