What Guests Are Saying
Charbonneau Park and Campground is highly praised for its beautiful, well-maintained grounds, friendly and accommodating staff, and clean facilities, offering a peaceful camping experience with lovely views of the lake. Many visitors appreciated the ample space between sites and the campground's overall cleanliness, noting it as a great place for families and outdoor activities. However, some campers reported issues with uneven tent sites, occasional water problems, and the presence of pests like earwigs and goatheads, which detracted from their experiences.

Everything was great. We actually live close by. I recently purchased a camp trailer and wanted to spend the night at a park close to home. We had a rainy stay but despite the weather, we were able to set up, tear down camp and empty our tanks all at the parks facilities. We had a good time even if the weather was a bit drippy.

We have been coming to this park for a number of years, we have always enjoyed ours stay with relatives and family. we consider it one of the most beautiful parks in Washington. We were a little concerned this year that the grass was so tall and unkept and was dried out in a lot of places, we stayed a week and there was some sprinklers going , but not enough for most of the park. The day use area was kept exceptional. We will return hopefully to the park we are so accustom to.

The staff was great. My only frustrations were the lack or water on the grass and mowing. Was there for 11 days and the site was not mowed.

Great park with plenty of shade, nice big spots, and great views of the Snake River. The site hosts were really friendly too!

We have ben going to this park for about 30 years and this was the first time we were disappointed. Normally the park is in beautiful condition but this time the grass was about 8" long and hadn't been mowed in a very long time. They finally started mowing but only for a couple of hours at a time. There were also many more bare spots around the park. They also moved all of the garbage cans out of the campground. they are at the entrance to the campground so you have to take your garbage there.
