What Guests Are Saying
Charbonneau Park and Campground is highly praised for its beautiful, well-maintained grounds, friendly and accommodating staff, and clean facilities, offering a peaceful camping experience with lovely views of the lake. Many visitors appreciated the ample space between sites and the campground's overall cleanliness, noting it as a great place for families and outdoor activities. However, some campers reported issues with uneven tent sites, occasional water problems, and the presence of pests like earwigs and goatheads, which detracted from their experiences.

We are on a month long journey across the West and so far, Charbonneau Park is the gem. The sites are spacious and ours had a wonderful view of Sacajawea Lake. There is a total mixture of site amenities from none to full hookups. The park is clean, the restrooms are old but also clean. The pair of Camp Hosts are wonderful people. The park is a great base camp to explore the confluence of the Snake and Columbia Rivers.

We have stayed here many times. Great location and a pretty well maintained park. Sites are large and the grass is green, making for a beautiful contrast to the arid surroundings. Book the US Dept of Energies, Hanford B reactor tour out of Richland. Enjoy a bike ride or walk along the west side of the Columbia river in Kennewick or Richland. There are plenty of good eateries and pubs. Head out and take a winery tour. This is a great home base location to explore from.

Site was easy access, the views are spectacular, the bathrooms were clean and those on site were very helpful and attentive. Did come across a baby rattlesnake and the staff came and dealt with it quickly, so you do have to be aware especially if you have animals with you.

The person at the desk was very helpful and kind. Our only issue was there were "goat head" stickers in the grass. Other than that we enjoyed our overnight stay and hike.
