Lakeshore RV Park & Marina

This place is a complete waste. They allow multiple tents but don’t give you enough tent pads, they spray everything in the middle of the night with sprinklers completely soaking all of your belongings. They don’t say anywhere in the reservation details stating that that is a risk you take. When you call to let them know they basically tell you you’re out of luck. The woman I spoke to was incredibly rude and unwilling to even work with us. We ended our vacation 2 days short because we were so tired of being woken up in the middle of the night with a new sprinklers blasting you. You can’t even walk to the restrooms without a sprinkler system getting you drenched. The only positive is the short distance to the lake. For almost $400 for our stay I expected something better, not having to pay to take a shower, not being drenched in the middle of the night and not having random people come tell us what we can and can’t do the entire time. There are far better camp sites to go to and enjoy that are 10000% better, don’t waste your time camping here, pick another spot.

Fabulous stay. Close to the lake but away enough to still feel like we weren't on top of everyone who was a the park. We were early season so it was quiet and the lake was cold, but the sun was out and it was still amazing paddle board weather.

Will want to come back during peak season when it's even warmer!

Things that we absolutely loved
-really nice grounds. Clean and well maintained
- next to the park and the lake for easy lake access and paddle boarding.
-tennis courts near by made for easy pickleball play with the kids
-easy bike ride to town and great little downtown shopping / ice cream district

Things to note
- we had our trailer and truck, and 1 more vehicle and couldn't have the additional vehicle on premise. It could have fit fine at our site, but they said no. We were able to either find street parking or park overnight in the park parking lot for $35 per 24 hours. Annoying to deal with and while for us, it was shoulder season and I found street parking nearby, I can imagine this can be quite the issue during peak season, so plan ahead for it if you have another vehicle. We stayed the beginning of April.

This place has gone so down hill.. we have been coming here every summer for 20 years and this will be our last. Dead grass, they use to have a great lawn and would actual care. (no watering schedule anymore, they use to care if you left stuff on the grass) dogs barking all over. (Never use to fly) $90 a night you would think they would be able to afford maintenance and staff. Just sad to see this once great place get so run down.

We are camping in our RV and the spaces are big and fairly easy to access. It's walking distance from both the lake and town which is very nice.

This is our second year staying here with our trailer. Easy hook ups, clean grounds, staff is friendly and helpful. Only downside is if you have an extra vehicle you have to pay to have it parked at the park next to campgrounds and it’s rather spendy. However is secure, as in security guards walking around all day and on site cameras. Police presence in chelan is appreciated. I wish they would allow you to bring your dog after July 4th camping here as that would be my biggest complaint if I had to have one. Easy access to downtown on foot, bike or car ride. Sprinklers come on at 2am so be sure to put your stuff up they are rather hidden in the grass. The two gates to access the park/beach directly from the grounds lock at 10pm. They did not have them locked in past years and I’m glad they do now because it’s more secure. Especially if you have little ones running around. Great campground for kids to ride bikes around safely. They have alot of new rules for the electric scooters and e bikes to be aware of. As well as atvs and other electric toys. Highly recommend this place for trailer camping! Super close to lake and beach maybe 1 minute walk. Don morse memorial park next to campgrounds has nice playground, skatepark, beach vollyball, tennis courts, food vendor, walking/bike path, picnic tables, gazebos w/bbqs. Right next to mini golf and go carts. They have a nice sectioned off wadding area for kids by the beach that is about 2-3 feet deep. Beach is somewhat sandy but has Little Rock’s. A lot of wood debris on beach this year but it’s fairly common as it all gets washed down into the lake each season. Some like to hunt for cool wood pieces to take home. Depending what site you get you can have a great view of the lake and more privacy. We had site 116 as seen in photos and videos. I like this spot better then the one we had a few years back that was in the middle of the campsite. We are up against the property line and no one walks through our site because of it. We have come here for the 4th before and they do fireworks in Mason but this year they did a drone show on the 5th for the first time that was really neat by the park. We were able to watch from our campsite at 10pm. Campgrounds has bathrooms and showers you can use. Also drink vending machines by bathrooms. Be aware that summer is always wildfire season in eastern WA and chelan always has them sadly. 20k acres burned in the Chelan hills fire a few days ago close by here because a kid decided to light fireworks. We were thankfully not impacted by any smoke but in past years we have been and it can put a damper on the trip. I called a day before leaving to see how the air was and what the impact was. My husband ended up with pneumonia after being exposed to the smoke in years past so it definitely can take its toll on your health even being exposed for a few days and trying to isolate in a trailer. Something to keep in mind. Book as early as possible as sites fill up quickly even a year ahead of time. We booked in November 2025 for our summer 2026 trip here. Overall great place to camp and make some memories.
