Love the trees for privacy between sites! Beautiful lake and woods! The area immediately around the parking pad was not very level and a bit rugged, made it difficult to even have a camping table level to cook on or use. The small stumps placed in the ground to outline the parking pad made it difficult to spread out a carpet and to be under the RV awning. But overall great experience! Serene and quiet and clean.

Large, no service sites as expected. Only concern was use of generators off hours.

Finally was able to get a camp spot this year! Wonderful area and well kept!

The weather was cold and wet.

We were in site #116 in Thetis Creek. After walking through the entire campground I feel this is one of the best sites. Very private. Could barely see the people in the next site due to thick underbrush. A short walk to a really nice beach for swimming, kayaking, etc. Water spigot right across the road. We had a 27' popup that barely fit with our truck. Site slopes down slightly at the back so we didn't go as far back into the site as we could have. All in all I loved this campground and would come more often if not for the distance. Far enough off I90 that there is no traffic noise.

Clean camp site. Very clean (but dark) bathrooms (virtually no smell inside). Quick walk to the beach. Could hear the roar of Gale Creek. Friendly and hardworking staff.

Great campsites - large and private. Easy access to the lake, which is beautiful, cold, and clear.

Lovely group site with plenty of room for two families but only one picnic table.

We got lucky and were able to reserve a spot in Thetis loop as most sites were already reserved and they only had FF (first come, first serve) sites. Our site was all sun no shade as most spots in this loop are… the sun sits directly over this loop, (roughly 7am-4-5pm ish) so if you don’t want direct sunlight I would stay clear of this loop it gets HOT. We were right next to one of 3 vaulted toilets which was nice but also stinky, more at night but only here and there, they are cleaned and checked throughout the day. We had an overall great time but you feel like your camping with your neighbors because the spots have less trees and are more open and it tends to get louder around mid-day/night because this loop is popular with the younger kids because access to the lake, 3 camp hosts all said good luck and they should know, lol. So if you want peace quiet and relaxation I would not recommend Thetis loop. The lake access is the ONLY bonus there! Overall we loved it here and hope to come back soon and explore the other loops if available. Downside, reserving a site here is not fun because available sites always go quick and whats left is FF. Happy camping.
