What Guests Are Saying
Kachess campground offers a beautiful, scenic environment with spacious and private campsites, making it a popular choice for many visitors. Numerous reviews praise the cleanliness of the campground and the friendliness of the staff, along with access to hiking trails and the lake. However, some concerns were raised about sanitation issues in the vault toilets, low lake water levels, and a lack of enforcement of campfire bans, which detracted from the overall experience for some campers.

Lake Kachess campground is one of the best in the state. Very clean and well maintained. Our stay was during Labor Day weekend, unfortunately the lake was very low so swimming was tough. Definitely will be coming back though!

For those of us that appreciate the typical calm waters of the north end of the lake, it would be great if the campground staff would or could enforce the no wake zone that is identified at the boat launch as well as with marker buoys in the lake. It's a wonderful place to paddle board, raft, swim etc. with friends and family as long as you don't have to worry about getting run over by jet skis and other watercraft.

Very clean. Quiet. Only problem we had was the bathroom toilet backed up, but was repaired in couple days.

The water level at the lake is exceptionally low when we camped there. It is mother nature.

The scenery was amazing and the water refreshing. The campsite was perfect and we enjoyed it while we were there.

I stayed at the group campground. It was really private, lots of grounds for tent and parking. Not far from the lake either. My only improvement suggestion is to upgrade the toilet. It will be great if it's water toilet instead of pit.

My wife and I really enjoyed our experience at the site. Although we wished the lake was a little higher and that the restroom tanks didn't overflow/clog. The other restrooms seemed to be overwhelmed as well as the smell was pretty rank.
I especially enjoyed the morning flyovers by the Navy F/A-18's, always amazed at the power of those Navy aircraft.
We are already discussing our plans for the summer and Lake kachess will definitely be part of it.
Thanks for the opportunity to provide feedback.

Some areas are generator hell! That said, this is a very nice campground. The staff is really nice and the lake is stunning!
