Decent campground. Stayed one night here in site 136 nearing the exitt of the loop so more traffics in the morning than evening. Spacious campsite but a bit too close to site 135 with nothing blocking views in between. No direct Lake access, you have to drive to the boat ramps.

Overall, gorgeous. Nice sites and facilities.
Portable speakers can be great - but also great is active enforcement by the camp host of the Quiet Hours. Too many nights with loud music/profanity constant from 10pm - 2am.

We enjoyed our short stay at Kachess Lake campground. Our site in the Thetis Creek loop had little shade from about 9:00 - 4:00, so we hung out along the lake for a while in an inner tube and SUP. Our campsite was clean, but dusty. The chipmunks and birds visited frequently, so plan for your guests! We plan to come back!

Nice large campsite with part sun / part shade and room to park two vehicles. Community water adjacent to this site, and the bathroom is close by. Campers in the group campsite nearby had tethered dogs which barked from 7am - 1am, and clearly disturbed many campers. The camp host was across the road and did nothing. Mentioning it to the people at the gate had little effect. It's too bad because otherwise this is a pleasant place to camp with great hiking and biking trails nearby.

Campground lovely clean bathrooms. Lake was beautiful
Campsites ok we had Three one dbl two single. One Single was should not have been open no level area a lot of debris from sluffing from hill behind. 4 sites around us who were all together were very loud during and after quiet hours. Host did come by after we complained but they do not enforce noice otherwise. We were all adults at our campsites, but this would not be a family friendly situation. Much profanity from these loud sites.

From Seattle, travel east on I-90 approximately 62 miles, or from Cle Elum travel west on I-90 approximately 20 miles. Take exit 62 and follow Kachess Lake Road for 5.5 miles to the campground, which is on the right.
Kachess is accessible via I-90, which is approximately 14 miles to the north, providing access to major cities and routes in the region.

General
- Water levels in Kachess Lake and Little Kachess Lake vary during the summer
- First-come, first-served sites may be available
- Off-road vehicle use is not permitted in the campground
- Reserved campsites will be held until check-out time (noon) on the day following your scheduled arrival.
- The campground may be full and no accommodations may be available after a no show is processed.
- Citations may be issued for exceeding Max Occupancy and campsite footprint
- Pets must be leashed in the campground at all times
- Firewood is available to purchase at the campground for $10.00/bundle.

- Don't Move Firewood: Please protect Pacific Northwest forests by preventing the spread of invasive species. Firewood can carry insects and diseases that can threaten the health of our western forests. You can make a difference by obtaining and burning your firewood near your camping destination. - Water is available in this location via a handpump and/or water spigot. Please DO NOT attach your RV hoses to the water systems we provide. These are made available to you to fill your water jugs/buckets and take back to your site to use. If you need to fill your RV water tanks, please fill your tank before you come to the campground.
