What Guests Are Saying

Lake Creek Campground offers a beautiful, shaded environment with well-spaced campsites, making it a great spot for those looking to disconnect and enjoy nature. The campground features clean vault toilets and good access for hiking and biking. However, guests should be prepared for limited water access, potential issues with wasps, and a steep road that may not suit larger trailers.

Beautiful campground, however we will not return. We timed it just right to be eaten alive by mosquitoes (even first thing in the morning, even with using a lot of Off!) and packed up before breakfast after one night. The river was gorgeous but it was very loud at our campsite (9) because of the close proximity. To get to the site from where you park your car, you have to “hike” down some rock steps about 20-30 feet. This would be tricky for campers with young kids or for those who are concerned about mobility/tripping. There was a water pump in the campsite, but would advise bringing your own water as it was very brown/rusty. The pit toilet was much nicer than what we’ve seen at other campgrounds, with fresh air and plenty of toilet paper.

Quiet, clean facilities, private camp sites. Definitely plan on visiting again.

Was in site 2. It has a great 10x10 flat area for a tent that size, but our tent is a canopy with side tents. It didn't fit in the allotted area so we set it on a more sloped area. Just a heads up if you're looking for a bigger site than 10x10. I loved the white noise of the rushing River nearby. Site 1 is literally on the river of that's what you're looking for. Can't speak to the facilities as site 2 was far enough away from them that I set up my own outhouse.

Not a good experience. My online booking for my campsite had not been updated on the sign when I arrived, prompting another nosy family to ask why I took that one when it did not have my reservation recorded. Then, I'd left my campsite for no more than 5 minutes to explore around and returned to find two young men snooping through my campsite. Would not recommend this place.
