The bathrooms were clean, the campsites well maintained, and the campground quiet. Easy to get to the lake. Paddle boarding in the morning was very peaceful. Nearby hiking is easily accessible.

We just love Bumping Lake.
The scenery and the water.
Sometimes other campers dogs get to be a little to much. Barking and stuff.

We were camping for a long Labor day weekend. Because of nearby wild fire we were evacuated a day early. On a positive note the weather was spectacular.
We always love Bumping Lake campground

Nice campground, clean facilities, roomy sites.
Upper Loop seemed to be the best option for tents, and lower loop was more RV sites. We were in the lower loop, site #60, with a massive circular drive but not much in the way of spots for a tent.
Overall, we had a blast. The kids swam and biked all day. We’ll be back.

Clean, and campsites are as described. Good-sized fire pit but grills are high so you'd have to have a decent fire to cook on them (better for warmth, so bring a camp stove). Only propane fire pits allowed anyway. Table tops appear to be redone/newer and are great for large groups.
Numerous trails make lake and other parts of the campground access, easy. Might want to bring water shoes as the lake shore can get pretty muddy depending on how dry it is or isn't. Water spigot is located near the upper campground (towards the day use parking area). Easy little spot to pull over and fill up your water jugs for washing dishes etc. Another at the host campsite, but might be more intrusive to use that one. Closest store is Whistlin' Jacks about 25 min drive on 410, to Naches - they have wifi but gas is crazy expensive, so fill up before you head out to the campground. There is a store on the other side of the lake, across the bridge but might be seasonal; closed in late August when we were there.

I was amazed at the staff there. They were extremely organized when we arrived on Sunday. There was huge church group there and they had to do traffic control, were superb. They also helped me get a jump start for my boat which had a dead battery. They went the extra mile for all the campers and day visitors to keep things really together. I can't say enough good things about them!

Beautiful site, very kind hosts, reasonably private campsites but no potable water available near most sites (all but one tap nonfunctional in most of this campsites x 4+ years) with inadequate garbage pick up and overflowing dumpsters. Pit toilets clean but not emptied off enough with a significant odor near them. Inadequate supervision with multiple campfires in the evening despite a burn ban which was very disquieting as it was hot and dry. Has the potential to be a fabulous campground
