We love Bumping for so many reasons. Love the dry camping. 3 days max as water storage is limited.

Lake is awesome. The forest felt like it was made from large matchsticks...

Hosts are awesome.

Very convenient to have dumpout at the campground.

We tried out the lower CG for a change. There is only 1 water source and it was far away. The garbages were overflowing. Not impressed with new management and the new $8 fee that you must pay to park at the boat launch area even if you have a national park pass! We were advised to evacuate at 10 pm on our last night due to a fire in the area. We should be refunded for our last day, but the website has not been updated to allow for it. It's time to find a new place for our family campouts.

This is by far our favorite campground for camping, boating and fishing. You might want to re-consider coming here if you have small children. Most of the kids swim near the boat ramp and dock. They're little heads bob under the water and they pop up somewhere else. This is very dangerous considering boats are being launched and retrieved many times throughout the day.
