Great campground. We went there with a group of 8 people, and we were a bit concerned about having enough space. Luckily we booked the site #20 which happens to be one of the largest, and we were able to fit our 5 tents easily. The site is also one of the closest from the river. The bathroom were clean and the host friendly.
The campsite is a 15 minute drive from Bumping lake and a couple easy trails. Perfect for a lazy weekend with friends/family!

Nice campground right next to the river
If you get a chance the hike above copper City is worth the time

Nice campground. Most sites are close to the river. It’s beautiful at soda springs.

I’ll first start of with the bad. There are two campgrounds in the Rainer area that have Soda Creek in the name. Cell reception is poor and my friend and I ended up at the different campgrounds. My friend thought the worst and spent most of the night searching for me. This needs to be clearly spelled out when booking the site.
Now for the good! The camp host was an absolute pleasure and helped out greatly. The campground was also beautiful and there was a pleasant stream to hang out. Highly recommend besides the whole naming thing!

There was no water available even though the camp ground description and the price included water. It would of been nice to know before we got there. The picnic table at our spot had a broken bench seat that if you sat on it it flew up because it was loose. Very dangerous situation! The campground host knew about the broken picnic table but said no one would come fix it. We were very disappointed and had to try to make repairs ourself so no one got hurt by the broken table and so we could semi use it.

Love this place, been there many times... only issue this trip was the generator was out so there was no water. Easily solved by driving up to Bumping lake.
