Great camp sites, plenty of room for kids to run and play. Campsites are fairly large, plenty of space between camp sites. Restrooms were clean.

The camping spots are very nice here, it is wonderful to be next to the Bumping River. However, there was no running water when I was there, so you have to bring your own. Also, they just have vault toilets. So, you should consider dispersed camping--there are plenty of good spots nearby.
Make sure to go across the bridge and take a quick look at the spring.

We stayed in spot #10 with a 33’ travel trailer. The spot next to us was empty so we were basically alone. Camp was quiet. The Camp host was very helpful. Overall we had a great time!

We were here for the 7/4 holiday weekend and had a fantastic time! It was really fun to explore the trails from the campground and fish in the Bumping River.

Paved access all the way to the campground. Well-marked sites, so setup in the dark wasn't a problem. Gorgeous. Kind camp host. Picnic tables and flat spots at each site, as well as plenty of trees for hammocks. Picnic areas and creek access further down, but an easy little walk away. Cool bridge. All the wilderness trails across the bridge were burned out, as were many others within reasonable driving distance, so the hiking was only good if you enjoyed bushwacking and orienteering (which we do, but many others do not). Very quiet and respectful site neighbors until one vanlife van showed up our last night and blasted metal music until 30 minutes before quiet hours. No fireworks (our reason for heading here) and no other issues with the people. Clean pit toilets, dumpsters were maintained well, and plenty of downed firewood to build a fire if it's safe.

Requested a pull through spot with shade, ended up with site number 24. Was pull through and clean but definitely NO shade was probably the worst space in the entire campground, your looking at the main road out your front door and the garbage bins are directly on the other side of you. The only way I’d stay again would be spot 2-6

A beautiful campground! The sites are spaced out far enough for privacy, and the Bumping River is beautiful. The road leading to the campground is good, lots of trees for shade. 5 mi from Bumping Lake, trails nearby. One of my favorites… no water available but there is some close by at Cougar Flats Campground.
