It is a good place to camp for families and people that want to take advantage of the reservoir. There is not much space between RVs, especially on the sites that have metal roof roofing.
The generators are allowed until 10 PM and they can be started at 6 am. I think it would be beneficial to limit the amount of time generators can run as that is the only thing you hear much of the camping day.

We truly enjoyed this spot but it doesn’t have really any shade. However, being so close to the reservoir was amazing. We sat out there under a shade tree and enjoyed the view.

The site was great, closer to the water, a decent amount of shade. I do want to give some props to the camp host Mike, as someone was parked in our spot that wasn’t even camping. He reached out to the Ranger and they were able to change me to a different spot. It was frustrating, but they did everything they could to make it right.

Day use area here is incredibly good. They have a lot of toilet options, including plumbed and chemical toilets, so I never waited in line once. Campsites were a little close together, but there were no problems with inconsiderate noise.

This was the worst campsite I have ever been to. The spots are so small and compact. Do not bring and RV to this campsite, we have a 26' RV that would not fit in the 30' spot. This is more of a parking lot than a campsite. We drove all the way here and left without staying.

Take State Highway 2 west of Spokane for 65 miles to the town of Wilbur, Washington. Turn north on State Highway 174 (follow road signs). Travel 19 miles and turn right at the sign for Spring Canyon Campground.
Spring Canyon Campground is accessible via State Highway 2, which is approximately 65 miles from Spokane, and State Highway 174, which connects to the campground from Wilbur.

Policies & Rules
General
- Dump/Fill Station onetime fee of $10 for campers with a reservation or $5 with Senior/Access pass. This is intended for visitors recreating in established campgrounds within the boundaries of Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area and not for residential use. Pay online prior to use at pay.gov/public/form/start/1575878640
- Flush toilets are available and water faucets turned on May 1st to September 30, weather permitting
- Campfires are not allowed in upper loop sites 32-78
- Pets are allowed but must be restrained at all times.
- No livestock.
- No off-road vehicles allowed. No off-road parking; park in designated areas only.
- No metal detectors or artifact collecting allowed
- Bring confirmation with you. Transfer the confirmation information onto the green slips located at the Fee Board as you enter the campground. Hang filled out tag at your site.
- Fires are permitted in the fire rings year-round, EXCEPT when the fire danger rating reaches a critical level as indicated by the Washington State Department of Natural Resources for the area that includes Lake Roosevelt NRA.
- Don't Move Firewood: Help protect our forests! Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood near your destination and burning it on-site. Moving firewood is illegal in some states. Visit dontmovefirewood.org to learn more.
- Weekly Boat Launch Permits must be purchased on line at https://www.pay.gov/public/form/start/656441199 . Please purchase prior to your trip. Annual Boat Launch Permits are available in person by vendor only.
- Due to watering the odd campsites numbered from 33 - 77 are RV only. No tents allowed on the grass.
