Spring Canyon Campground offers large lots and stunning views, with proximity to the beach and a lovely hiking trail. The park is well-maintained, featuring clean facilities and friendly staff, making it ideal for family gatherings and outdoor activities. However, some campers noted the closeness of sites, lack of shade, and noise from generators and nearby campers as downsides.

The Spring Canyon campground is a great launch point to explore the multitude of rock climbing crags in central Washington. The town of Grand Coulee just down the road from the campground has a small but quaint Safeway for groceries, firewood and the likes. As for the campground itself, we thought that the sites were a bit stacked and open, but we are used to camp in the backcountry so this may not be a fair assessment. For end of October, though, it was perfect. There were only two other groups of users in the entire campground so it was a perfect setting for us. The fire pits and picnic table were in good condition. The vault toilet was spotless. What more could you ask for at $9 per night. Oh, and we were visited by a herd of deer. Crags we explored were Picnic Table Rock, Gibraltar Rock, Jones Bay crag, Golf Course crag. There are probably another hundred routes to climb in Road Side Rock and other crags in the area. Highly recommended.

Nice campground although the bathroom with water was closed. The pit toilet was clean and did not smell. I love camping at Spring Canyon.

A few coveted spots that have wonderful views of the lake. Close to the dam, the city has a great store for provisions.

Because the camp host had already left for the season, the nice bathrooms were locked, only had vault toilets. The spaces are mostly small! Our trailer is only 24 ft, and to fit in our space, #24 we had to park over the fire ring. Even though it said good for 33 ft. Also large rocks, 2 ft x 2 ft everywhere, I tripped and fell over a rock outside our door. Campground itself was wide open, no privacy whatsoever. That said, beautiful weather, nice beach and facilities/day use swim area very nice.
