Eightmile Campground

Restrooms were the cleanest vault toilets I have ever seen, our site was raked and pristine. Didn’t look for or use the water spigots. Very convenient spot for an Enchantments hike. Overall great stay!

Clean, spacious, well maintained campground, our campsite (2A) was next to the river. Restrooms are clean and well maintained, campground is 8 min away from Snow Lakes TH if you are planning on climbing or through hiking.

Hands down the most beautiful campground I have ever been to. Or more specifically- camp SITE. I felt like I was at the 5 star hotel of primitive campgrounds. The sites look like they are raked with the particular and conscious care of a buddhist monk maintaining his Japanese Zen Garden. Then when you meet the hosts, Lukas and Kristi, and their sweet pup, Herbie, it all makes sense. When you walk up on their site, you're welcomed with calming burning incense and tranquil music as if we're at a temple oasis nestled in the forest. You can tell they take pride in the campground and you will always see them out and about with Herbie checking up on things.

Not only that, but they are extremely helpful and welcoming hosts (especially Herbie who greets you with a helicopter tail and leg licks). We had a couple reservations scattered and they told us to hang tight as they took the cart around to help find sites close together so we could be right next to each other and that would also fit our big rigs. They really go out of their way to accommodate your needs. And to top it all off, I have never seen cleaner vault toilets. Always horrifying to go into these things, but it's somehow cleaner than my bathroom at home. Always tickled me anytime I went in there with freshly enveloped toilet paper rolls. It's the little things. Can't wait to come back next year! I miss Herbie already.

Did camping on July 14 & 15, love the camping with Icycle river flowing through the mountains! No showers in campground just take a cold bath in the river and relax! Hosts are really helpful & friendly. No mosquitoes but has flys! We didn’t used Campfire as it was not that cold. Day time was hot so enjoy the river.

This is a fabulous campground. It is clean and well maintained and the host was very friendly. Sites are mostly private with lots of shade. A small area of the river is accessible from the campground and if you venture just a short walk up the river there are a few more quiet spots. Located not far from downtown Leavenworth along Icicle Creek. So much hiking in this area. I drove to some but an easy one I did was just heading up the river. It goes on for several miles connecting up with a smaller campground further up stream.
