Elkamp

This campground is a true gem! There are no bad sites and the bathrooms/toilets are super nice and very clean. The owners have truly thought of it all to make it a wonderful experience. We truly enjoyed the meadow and playing down by the stream. This place will be part of our rotation.

We stayed in this park September 7 - 9, 2025 while visiting Mt Rainier. We had our motorcycle on the back of our motor home. One of the staff members volunteered to help take the bike off the rack and then offered to help put it back on. This was way above and beyond his responsibilities. This act of kindness enhanced our visit to MT. Rainier being able to ride the bike to the park. Great people here and the park is fantastic. Well kept, clean and nestled beneath old growth trees. We will definitely recommend this park to anyone traveling to this area. If we get to go back to this area this will be our place to stay. Totally satisfied. Sorry this review is so late. We are from Central Florida. Found this park on Google.

This campground was wonderful. The owners were very friendly and do a great job taking care of the campground. It has a wonderful layout, is peaceful, and is close to mount rainier. We peeked in the windows of the cabin and it looks like a wonderful spot to spend a weekend. We will be coming back to say hi sometime in the future.

Elkamp was an incredible camping experience for me and my son. Our campsite was so close to the creek that we could hear the water at night from our site, and it created the most peaceful atmosphere all weekend.

My son handled most of the setup since I’m recovering from a back injury, and the tent platform made everything easier and more comfortable for both of us. We used our sleeping bags with a comforter underneath, and it made for a cozy, simple, relaxing stay.

We enjoyed a warm campfire, made s’mores, cooked steaks, and soaked in the quiet beauty of the property. Everything is clean, well maintained, and clearly cared for with pride. We felt safe, welcomed, and completely relaxed the entire time.

This is easily a five‑star campground, and we can’t wait to come back.

I would definitely stay here again, the whole campground felt very well thought out with personal touches that made it feel cozy. The private heated washrooms and shower was so appreciated! There was mowed trials with chairs in the meadow for sitting and relaxing. I came from Canada on my own to explore and felt totally safe. The cute little town of Elbe is near by with a general store and restaurants. Mount Rainer is about an hour away to the upper lot, but less to the park entrance.
