What Guests Are Saying

Hause Creek Campground is praised for its beautiful setting along the Tieton River, large and clean campsites, and friendly hosts. Many visitors enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, well-maintained facilities, and easy access to recreational activities like fishing and hiking. However, some sites were noted to be overgrown or poorly located near noise sources, and there were occasional concerns about bathroom cleanliness and lack of water hookups. Overall, many campers express a desire to return.

This is lovely campground by a fast-moving river. The sites are large with nice tables and fire pits. The facilities were stocked and clean. Weirdly, there is no water, but that was clear from the website and we brought plenty. However, firewood was not available (but, after this winter, there was plenty to scavenge). I did not recall seeing anything mentioned about the power station with its bright light, but maybe I missed that.

The camp sites aren’t maintained very well and There not big enough to actually accommodate travel trailers. There are an abundance of mosquito's and we found ticks the first on our leg the first day camping.

Campsites were very large and clean. The river going through the campground was amazing to listen to and watch the rafts go down. Camp host was very friendly and helpful.

Stayed in site 23. Site is toward the back. Close enough to the river to hear it and get the benefit of it's white noise, far enough so that you don't have to worry about falling in. Far enough from the road that road noise was not a concern at all. Toilets were nice and clean (though a short walk from the site).

Great campground small but just right. We loved being on the river. You can hear the road noise but it didn't bother us much. The vault toilets were stoked and clean. This site was a walk in, which caught us off guard and we had a lot of gear to walk in. But it was worth it! Great site. Sites 9-12 were all walk in with parking on the road and they were right on the river bank. Good shade at 11 and 12, 9 and 10 didn't have much shade. The river was very cold and running fast, didn't try to get in past the knees.
