What Guests Are Saying

The Indian Flat Group Site offers beautiful campsites by the river, with ample space for camping and hammocking, making it ideal for large groups. However, some concerns were raised about rusty water from the pump, unclean restrooms, and a significant presence of bees and hornets. Despite these issues, visitors appreciated the site's features and noted they would return in the future.

Beautiful campsites right by the river. Has a few out houses and plenty of spaces to camp or set up a hammock. It is gated although there is a road that leads to private cabins so still somewhat accessible to others. Had some satellite service at times with T-Mobile. Would camp here again.

There is a water pump, but I wouldn't recommend using it, comes out really rusty. Restrooms had not been cleaned and we saw no rangers in the 8 days we were there.

We had a very good time; The road was in good shape but needs a little trimming of the overgrown brush on the sides. It took my hot water grille off. (my granddaughter made a game finding it). Oh a rotten tree fell across the road and I blocked my way out. (only a couple of scrapes up high).
They have fantastic new picnic tables, with no carving on them. We ran low on water and got to use the hand pump for water. Iron taste but we were thankful for potable water, Got 32 mice in one week! Some kind of record. Bathrooms were well stocked and clean and a delightful stack of firewood. Had several people drive up thru the camp and surprise us during the week. They moved the barriers on the side towards the cabins and came on in. poor signage and no real gate. All of this made for a wonderful experience for the grandkids.

The site roads are a little overgrown. We used the well water for one of the campouts. Tastes like iron but grandma used all her water, so it was nice to have it. I caught 53 mice in 2 weeks. When campers cook food like corn on the cob, please don't throw the leftovers in the weeds. I had 0 in my RV; will others be that fortunate? The creek was great, the camp was really dry and dusty like the rest of our state.
