What Guests Are Saying
Lodgepole Campground offers a well-maintained and spacious environment with beautiful river access and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a great choice for families and nature lovers. Most sites provide good privacy, and the camp host is friendly and helpful. While there is minimal noise from the nearby highway and only one water spigot, visitors appreciate the cleanliness and overall pleasant experience, often returning for future stays.

We were in site 6, a nice pull through. Highway noise, but not enough to matter. Water was turned off, never found out why, since it's the middle of July. Access to the river is limited, you pretty much have to go through someone's campsite to get to the water.

the spot had a lot of room for our 20 foot trailer. there was a temporary water shortage that we did not know about until we got there. we arrived with no water in our tanks so we had a lighter load for towing. the next morning we found a nearby campground that had water, so we moved.

Camp was very clean and well maintained. The camp host was very friendly and helpful. The only complaint I have is that it is very close to the highway

Campground is nice except one huge problem. No WATER! Water is essential for drinking and to put out camp fires! Rec.gov/NFS has a duty to notify people of water issues beforehand! Apparently the pump and well is in serious disrepair. Fortunately the camp host was there to save the day. Kudos to the camp host that took his personal water jugs and traveled 6 mi to get water for us! Very disappointed in Rec.gov/NFS this year.
