What Guests Are Saying
Lodgepole Campground offers a well-maintained and spacious environment with beautiful river access and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a great choice for families and nature lovers. Most sites provide good privacy, and the camp host is friendly and helpful. While there is minimal noise from the nearby highway and only one water spigot, visitors appreciate the cleanliness and overall pleasant experience, often returning for future stays.

Beautiful, well maintained campground. The vault toilets were some of the cleanest I have ever experienced. My kudos to the camp hosts.

The campgrounds are well kept. We love the sites along the river. Just one issue during our stay this time were the MOSQUITOES, crikey they were dreadful! We’ve never had a problem before and we nearly always camp in June. The camp hosts were wonderful - they were so helpful when one of our group needed to change sites! Thank you Beth & partner.

Clean and quiet with a great camp ground host. Only thing I didn’t enjoy were the mosquitoes.

When I reserved my campsite online, it stated that it was appropriate for a camp trailer of my size. It was a very tight fit. And backing into it was very challenging. It appears a new loop was added relatively recently. The sign said "no trailers". These sites were much more spacious, with much more room to back in. How ironic. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay, and the camp hosts were great. A lot of trees were dropped due to insect/disease. Sure would have been nice if they were bucked up so campers could split them up and use them for firewood. It seems like the USFS does minimal upkeep on infrastructure. That's too bad.

Had a great stay. Had great conversations with Beth, the campground host. Very friendly and informative. If you want a quiet place to stay and enjoy nature and have close access to Mt. Rainier National Park, this is the place to stay.
