This is our 3rd or 4th time coming by to Lodgepole. I know it’s reliable and will have a solid camp site with accessible drinking water so I will be coming back again. The camp host was friendly and nice.

Great campground for family. It’s well maintained and the paved road allows the kids to ride bikes safely. The river is peaceful.

Nice campground right on the river.
There is also a short hike on the east end that takes you down to a cool little waterfall area that was very secluded.
Pit toilet close to our site was pretty stinky and had high use.
I ended up using the one by the day use area that was slightly used.

This is my favorite place to camp near Seattle. I will come back every year. It’s generally quiet with large sites. Joe the camp host was very good at cleaning the sites and toilets. Thank you for a great experience

Our campsite was tucked away from the main campground, near the camp host. It felt very private despite the campground being full.

Nice campground. Host was friendly and helpful. Decent sized spots but only 1 water spigot. No problem if you're prepared. A few mosquitoes but they didn't bother us too much. Will definitely be back.

It was exactly what we expected: a basic campground with almost no amenities, but well maintained. We were basically the only ones staying here, besides the camp host a couple of hundred feet away, so even though the door of the vault toilet didn't close properly, you still had some privacy. Because it was so quiet, we had a great stay.
