What Guests Are Saying

Pioneer Park is a clean, quiet, and family-friendly campground with spacious, well-maintained sites and friendly hosts. Many visitors appreciate the beautiful natural setting and the close proximity to the river, making it a great spot for relaxation and outdoor activities. While some noted minor inconveniences such as lack of potable water and yellow jackets, these did not significantly detract from their overall positive experiences.

Very nice campground. Camping spots are a nice distance apart. Quiet place with regular camp ground joys.
Host was very friendly, stopped and spoke with guests. Always had a wave and smile on her face! We got to meet her “summer” dog.

Park was clean. The host was attentive and friendly. Site 7 is strictly sun so it was hot.

Unattended, screaming children. Barking dogs. But the campground was clean, my site was well-maintained and the sunset was pretty.

Definitely not my favorite place. Just to get into my site i had to jack knife my trailer then there was barley enough room to open my awning. I was lucky though. On the one way only loop there is a spot that you have to go the wrong way to even get into the spot, no matter what you tow. There is a spot that is up a hill and the only level/flat ground is maybe 10 ft long then you have the rest of your camping site on the steep hill. The water is not close really. Very shallow. You can actually walk to almost the middle of the lake and I'm just above 5 ft tall. Worst part was it smelled like dead fish.
