This is a beautiful park to spend the week. Although close to main road, traffic noise was not a problem. Wish there were more hiking trails however.

Pioneer Park is beautiful with wonderful hiking paths. I was disappointed that the site that I had was very un level. I tried to find a Camp Host to get permission to switch sites but I could not rouse anyone. So I switched sites and that was more level, but less level than I needed.

A very surprising small gem of a campground at the end of a muddy gravel road. Campsites are well taken care of and spacious per usual CCC quality. Will be back again when weather is better for getting on water!

We love this Campground and have stayed several times. It is quiet, well maintained and the sites are a very generous size giving you privacy. The river is beautiful and the history is very interesting and well documented. Thank you we highly recommend this campground.

Great place. Clean, quiet and family friendly with large spots. Didn't really appreciate the locals across the river shooting at 7am but didn't ruin the experience.

Paid full camping fee yet still no potable water. How about reducing the fee? Also, yellow jackets nest on the stairs leading down to the waterfront…myself and others were stung. Camp host made an effort to spray the nest, but the wasps endured. Beware of the stairs to the river.
