D16 is a fabulous site, right on the river. Sound of the rapids are great to fall asleep to. Good privacy. Lots of shade. Very quiet - can't hear any traffic from Rt 12. Very easy to get up to Paradise and hiking in the park, and to Packwood when you need ice. Don't forget to bring water.

Right on the gorgeous river, close to swimming, hiking, and relaxing. Definitely have to check out the blue hole. Our hosts Ronnie and Astrid were the best people ever. We can’t wait to be back!!

Such a beautiful old campground! So much history and such old forest. Two rivers , one on each side. Mt. Ranier is a close car ride away. We had a lovely time.

This is a favorite NW campground for us. Lovely campsites, a flowing river, nearby hiking, and a town a few miles away. I'd say more but don't want to attract a lot more people.
