We stayed at Salish Trails RV and Campground for 2 nights and had a fantastic time! The sites were spacious and level. Everything was well maintained and clean. The employees are always on the moving, working hard and very helpful and kind. They have these mega bikes for rent and I'm pretty sure my husband and I had more fun than our daughter did. The proximity to the Olympics was really nice. It was a very good experience.

Tomorrow will be the third weekend in a row that my wife and I have stayed at Salish Trails RV & Campground Park in Port Angeles, WA. It’s an hour and a half drive from our house and has proven to be worth it every time. Two weeks ago, was our first time staying there and was with friends. It and was amazing. The young lady who checked us in (Cherokee I believe is her name, Spell check) went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The entire staff is super friendly. We’ve been to quite a few campgrounds over the years and I will say this was probably the cleanest and well maintained of them all. It’s not the biggest campground but that’s not a bad thing. The onsite store has everything one would need and a bunch of souvenirs you can grab. You're also 15 minutes from downtown Port Angeles. The second stay was with my wife, my in-laws, and our dog. Large dog park to let the pup play and there was even a water faucet with a bowl under it along with waste bags, just in case you forgot to bring water and a bowl. They have taken the time to think of the little things that a lot of us would forget about. Tomorrow the wife and I are treating it like a date night. Just the two of us. Enjoy the pool and campfire while also running into town for a nice dinner. I highly recommend giving Salish Trails a try. Nothing but positive things to say about the grounds or the people that make it run.

Stayed for two nights in one of the two room cabins with our kids. The kids absolutely loved this campground and so did we. We use this as a base for Olympic National Park. There were lots of games and things to do on site. The pool was clean. All of the staff were friendly. They have fun carts that you can rent for $10 an hour that my son loved. Inside the lodge there is a microwave, board games, various large games and a DVD player. There is also a little convenience store attached to the office. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend for families!!!!!! Also, the price was very reasonable.

Such a nice campground and so close to town, great restaurants, shopping and Olympic National Park.
Jessica and her husband were so helpful and even moved us to a site that had electricity when the temperatures dropped and we needed heat. They were easily reached, nice and you could see how much they cared about the place. Pool is warm- 88 degrees, sites well shaded and separate. Bathrooms very clean. Great stop for us!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Salish Trails RV Park in Port Angeles. From the moment we arrived, the entire experience exceeded expectations. The check-in process was quick and easy, and the staff immediately made us feel welcome. Every person we interacted with was incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care that guests had a great stay.
The first thing that stood out to us was just how clean and well-maintained everything is. The grounds are beautifully kept, the bathrooms are spotless, and the laundry facilities are some of the cleanest I’ve ever seen at an RV park. The washers and dryers work great, and the showers were always clean, nice and hot, and best of all, completely free — which was such a welcome bonus after long days exploring the area.
The RV spaces are spacious and thoughtfully laid out, so you never feel crowded or packed in next to other campers. The cabins are beautiful, the tent camping areas are well maintained, and the entire property has a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. It also feels incredibly safe and family-friendly, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
There is also so much to do here for both kids and adults. Between the swimming area, pedal cars, cornhole, basketball courts, horseshoe courts, tetherball, and the wonderful playground for the kids, there’s truly something for everyone. Add in the nearby trails, outdoor activities, and gorgeous scenery surrounding the park, and it becomes the kind of place where you genuinely don’t want your trip to end.
What really makes Salish Trails special, though, is the overall feeling you get while staying here. You can tell the owners and staff truly care about this place and take pride in creating a welcoming environment for guests. Everything about the park feels cared for, relaxed, and inviting.
Without question, every time I return to Port Angeles, this will be where I stay. Salish Trails RV Park has officially become my home away from home in Washington, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
