The lovers lane loop was one of the most beautiful hikes of my life.
I recommend doing a cold plunge in the creek for an added thrill.
Don't forget to soak in the hot springs after.

Great campsite in Loop A, pretty quiet. Staff at the Hot Springs were fun and professional. Rode our bikes from the campground to the springs, easy. Lucked out on the weather, super sunny for first weekend in May! Note: no showers at campgrounds. Showers at the resort.

Camping at SolDuc puts you in the heart if old growth forests! Close to several walking/ hiking trails. A shirt walk tonthe Amazing Sol Duc Falls & to a siak in Sol Duc hot springs resort.

Great campground! Lots of shade and big sites. Restrooms were well-maintained. Trails from the campground and on the road in from the highway. Beautiful area.

Overall a pretty good site. Parking could have been tight but luckily I didn’t have a neighbor. I enjoyed being next to the river and being able to see stars at night.

Beautiful park with hot springs and an excellent restaurant. No wifi. The site seemed like a parking lot, but once you are parked, you have a wide open space away from your vehicle with a table and fire ring, so it feels like regular camping.

The campground was in an old growth rain forest surrounded by tall trees. My site was next to a brook and you could hear the soft and soothing running water. The campground was well maintained and very quiet. I soaked in the adjacent hot springs twice. At the end of Sol Duc road was a 1.6 miles trail leading to Sol Duc Falls, one of the most beautiful hiking trails and waterfalls. Love the campground!

Sol Duc is in the northern part of Olympic National Park, 28 miles west of Port Angeles and west of Lake Crescent.
3 1/2 hours from Seattle
5 hours from Portland
3 hours from Victoria, BC
From the east: From Port Angeles, take Hwy. 101 west for 29 miles, then turn left onto Sol Duc Hot Springs Rd and travel 12 miles to Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort.
From the south: From Forks, take Hwy. 101 north for 28 miles then turn right onto Sol Duc Hot Springs Rd and travel 12 miles to Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort.
The campground is accessed via State Route 101, which is approximately 20 miles to the south.

41 mi drive to downtown Port Angeles (about 58 min)
Policies & Rules
General
- The Mineral Hot Springs & Pool access will be in sessions:8:00 AM - 9:30 AM10:00 AM - 11:30 AM12:00 PM - 1:30 PM2:00 PM - 3:30 PM4:00 PM - 5:30 PM6:00 PM - 7:30 PM2026 pool access fees are $19 for adults, $15 for children ages 4-12 and $15 for seniors over 62 years old per session. Towel rentals are $5. You may bring your own towel. Lockers are available, but locks are not provided. Children under the age of 4 may only access the smallest hot spring pool and the swimming pool.
- Caution: Wildlife including bears and raccoons frequent the area. All food and coolers (regardless of contents) must kept in approved animal proof containers.
- Pets must be kept on a leash up to 6 feet in length at all times. Pets are not allowed on National Park trails at any time.
- No loud music or sound (including generators) between the hours of , and .
- Please verify you know your site prior to arrival. If you have any questions or concerns, speak with the front desk at the resort or the camp host.
- The National Park Service charges entrance fees at the entrance station on Sol Duc Road. Refer to the park Fees and Passes page.
- Don't Move Firewood: Help protect our forests! Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site. Moving firewood is illegal in some states. Visit dontmovefirewood.org to learn more.
