Loved this campground! Very quiet, restrooms were in great condition, camp host was friendly. Beautiful to wake up to the sounds of nature. Perfect for those who want to escape the city, there’s no cell service so no phones to distract you! Highly recommend, will definitely be going back!

Great site. Great host. Firewoods are sold inside the campground by host which makes life so much easier. Beware of bugs though!

Campgrounds are wonderful! Love that all trees of rainforest and the sounds of river nearby.
Check the pool rates thou. It’s not worth reserving a tent if you want to soak in the pools all day. Cabins would be better for money saving !

Sol duc hot springs is located in a beautiful setting and offers a wonderful 6+ mile loop hike along the river. Camp ground loop A and B appeared to have nice sites, but I would not recommend the RV court, which was the only thing available. For $55/nt there was no restroom nearby, no waste water disposal, no camp host and absolutely no shade as noted in our site description. You basically pull into a parking lot with water and electricity. When we arrived, the site was cluttered with trash including someone’s discarded underwear and t-shirt in our fire ring.

Beautiful campground. Peaceful and close to several great hiking trails. A really nice part of Olympic National Park with less people than other parts of the park. Flush toilets were a bonus. You can shower at the resort (for free, we were told) but we didn’t because the sulphur smell of the hot springs was too overwhelming. We also did not use the hot springs or pool.

Sol Duc Campground is our families favorite. This was our 4th year coming on my bday weekend. We highly recommend it for it's peaceful beauty and all the amenities you need for a nice camping trip

Nicely located campground and very clean! Only complaint is I wish the spots were a little more private and had better parking. I stayed in spot 9 and the people in spot 10 had gotten there before us and took up the little parking there was to begin with in front of our spot. Also the spot was a down a little hill and although it was maybe 25 yards away it makes the packing and unpacking take a bit longer. The bear box was in the middle of the parking and campsite so it was hard when cooking meals for example and going back and forth. It is connected to the trails on that side of the park so that is a major bonus and I would camp there again!

We stayed in campsite 24 in late July 2022. It's a great site, with plenty of room for our group of 8 with a 32 ft Class A RV and a large tent. Close proximity to bathrooms and garbage cans. And right next to the forest which was great for the kids. Like most, the site is heavily shaded which was helpful in 90° weather.
If you have young kids, I recommend driving or biking to the hot springs -- the walking path is lengthy.

The tent campsite was okay. Bathrooms lacked some sort of bug control (which is okay but very bothersome) There were flies, moths, and winged bugs absolutely infesting the stalls. I don’t recommend the hot springs. They’re expensive and smell like sulfur. Overall not very clean and also not air conditioned in the restaurant/resort. Bugs at the restaurant climbing on the walls. I love the beautiful sights and trails, love camping under the trees. Likely won’t be back however.

Sol Duc is in the northern part of Olympic National Park, 28 miles west of Port Angeles and west of Lake Crescent.

From the east: From Port Angeles, take Hwy. 101 west for 29 miles, then turn left onto Sol Duc Hot Springs Rd and travel 12 miles to Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort.
From the south: From Forks, take Hwy. 101 north for 28 miles then turn right onto Sol Duc Hot Springs Rd and travel 12 miles to Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort.
The campground is accessed via State Route 101, which is approximately 20 miles to the south.

Policies & Rules
General
- The Mineral Hot Springs & Pool access will be in sessions:8:00 AM - 9:30 AM10:00 AM - 11:30 AM12:00 PM - 1:30 PM2:00 PM - 3:30 PM4:00 PM - 5:30 PM6:00 PM - 7:30 PM2026 pool access fees are $19 for adults, $15 for children ages 4-12 and $15 for seniors over 62 years old per session. Towel rentals are $5. You may bring your own towel. Lockers are available, but locks are not provided. Children under the age of 4 may only access the smallest hot spring pool and the swimming pool.
- Caution: Wildlife including bears and raccoons frequent the area. All food and coolers (regardless of contents) must kept in approved animal proof containers.
- Pets must be kept on a leash up to 6 feet in length at all times. Pets are not allowed on National Park trails at any time.
- No loud music or sound (including generators) between the hours of , and .
- Please verify you know your site prior to arrival. If you have any questions or concerns, speak with the front desk at the resort or the camp host.
- The National Park Service charges entrance fees at the entrance station on Sol Duc Road. Refer to the park Fees and Passes page.
- Don't Move Firewood: Help protect our forests! Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site. Moving firewood is illegal in some states. Visit dontmovefirewood.org to learn more.
