Beautiful campground! Note that the parking pad for this site is a few steps up from the picnic table/fire pit. Fairly close to the bathrooms, but you have to climb over logs down a steep hill to get there, not recommended in the middle of the night!

We enjoyed our campsite in loop B. Lots of families there, very quiet at night. Bathrooms were clean for the most part (aside from a clogged sink), but I wasn’t aware that this campsite had no showers available. We were able to use the showers at the hot springs but I felt the hot springs admission price was a little steep for what it was. Probably wouldn’t do the hot springs again (with my kids anyway) but I scoped out some really cool campsites in loop B that offered more space and privacy that I’d love to come back to.
We also took the Loop B Trail all the way to the Sol Duc falls and that was about 5 miles round trip. Easy for kids and I liked that we didn’t have to drive the car to a TH.

This Site was in a Great Location, there was some light garbage around the site when we arrived. We were using our Propane Fireplace in our fire ring, and our camp host on duty drove up and confronted us quite bluntly regarding if it was a real fire or not, which is why we had brought the propane fireplace, it wasn't a very friendly experience, but the site was in a good location in regards to the trails and nearby hot spring.

Pretty campground in a good location for hiking. I was tent camping, stuck between several trailers whose owners were running their loud generators all night. This was disappointing, as I look forward to the nighttime peace at a national park campground.

All good. Better signage to find the RV section wouldn’t be misplaced. We passed it by the time we realized what it was. Used the dump station to turn around. Very handy to the lodge and hot springs.

We spent 2 nights were at Sol Duc Springs campground inside the park. Magnificent and massive trees! Bad for Starlink and solar, but great for enjoying nature.
Flushing toilets, picnic table, fire pit, potable water, had a non electric site (although there was an RV parking area with electric where you could reserve a site, but it was not as nice as the nonelectric sites), and the hot springs resort is close by.
No showers, no dishwashing sink.
The resort has a store, restaurant, and showers (with no doors or curtains, just FYI) and you can pay to go in the hot spring pools. Pools are varying temperatures from 74 to 109. Bring your own towel because they charge extra for use of a towel. We went in the hot springs (you can pay for a timed session) and hiked to Sol Duc Falls.

Be careful as to the site your reserve as several of them are located deep in the forest, a good deal away from your parked car.

Sol Duc is in the northern part of Olympic National Park, 28 miles west of Port Angeles and west of Lake Crescent.
3 1/2 hours from Seattle
5 hours from Portland
3 hours from Victoria, BC
From the east: From Port Angeles, take Hwy. 101 west for 29 miles, then turn left onto Sol Duc Hot Springs Rd and travel 12 miles to Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort.
From the south: From Forks, take Hwy. 101 north for 28 miles then turn right onto Sol Duc Hot Springs Rd and travel 12 miles to Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort.
The campground is accessed via State Route 101, which is approximately 20 miles to the south.

Policies & Rules
General
- The Mineral Hot Springs & Pool access will be in sessions:8:00 AM - 9:30 AM10:00 AM - 11:30 AM12:00 PM - 1:30 PM2:00 PM - 3:30 PM4:00 PM - 5:30 PM6:00 PM - 7:30 PM2026 pool access fees are $19 for adults, $15 for children ages 4-12 and $15 for seniors over 62 years old per session. Towel rentals are $5. You may bring your own towel. Lockers are available, but locks are not provided. Children under the age of 4 may only access the smallest hot spring pool and the swimming pool.
- Caution: Wildlife including bears and raccoons frequent the area. All food and coolers (regardless of contents) must kept in approved animal proof containers.
- Pets must be kept on a leash up to 6 feet in length at all times. Pets are not allowed on National Park trails at any time.
- No loud music or sound (including generators) between the hours of , and .
- Please verify you know your site prior to arrival. If you have any questions or concerns, speak with the front desk at the resort or the camp host.
- The National Park Service charges entrance fees at the entrance station on Sol Duc Road. Refer to the park Fees and Passes page.
- Don't Move Firewood: Help protect our forests! Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site. Moving firewood is illegal in some states. Visit dontmovefirewood.org to learn more.
