The campground and facilities are well maintained. The park is beautiful. The only downside is that the park was noisy, particularly on the weekend. We also had a guy running a loud generator at the site next to us for a few hours a day. I suppose the campground can’t do much about that.. Finally a fellow camper went over and asked politely for him to shut it off as it was driving us all madd.

There should be a limit to the size of RV at " The Campground " the guy next to us pulled a 30 ft air stream into a site that hardy fit his rig and then ran 4 generators until we asked him to stop it should be a campground not an RV park

I could not recommend site 41 in loop B. It’s more of a picnic site, not a campsite. There was not space to set up a tent. Luckily I was able to secure another site where there was enough space to set up a tent. Don’t expect to be able to have space for a tent at this site.

Been going here 50 years and don’t like the timed sessions such a money grab and the extractor to remove water from you suits was removed another big disappointment t I had books of tickets I bought when they were good all day and front desk staff would not honor them I hope someone else besides Aramark takes over and brings back the true charm of this special place

Clean campsites, quiet area, clean bathrooms, close to very nice hotsprings. Our site was slightly smaller than I am used to (loop A 34) but still (barely) fit our SUV and pop up trailer. Overall great stay and we felt lucky to get a spot there!

The campground loop has water and electricity for smaller RVs. It was within walking distance to the hot springs. The trail for Sol Duc falls was on the edge of the campground which is nice. It was quiet both nights we used the campground. There were deer in the campground in the morning.

Sol Duc is in the northern part of Olympic National Park, 28 miles west of Port Angeles and west of Lake Crescent.
3 1/2 hours from Seattle
5 hours from Portland
3 hours from Victoria, BC
From the east: From Port Angeles, take Hwy. 101 west for 29 miles, then turn left onto Sol Duc Hot Springs Rd and travel 12 miles to Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort.
From the south: From Forks, take Hwy. 101 north for 28 miles then turn right onto Sol Duc Hot Springs Rd and travel 12 miles to Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort.
The campground is accessed via State Route 101, which is approximately 20 miles to the south.
Elevation: 513 feet
41 mi drive to downtown Port Angeles (about 58 min)
Policies & Rules
General
- The Mineral Hot Springs & Pool access will be in sessions:8:00 AM - 9:30 AM10:00 AM - 11:30 AM12:00 PM - 1:30 PM2:00 PM - 3:30 PM4:00 PM - 5:30 PM6:00 PM - 7:30 PM2026 pool access fees are $19 for adults, $15 for children ages 4-12 and $15 for seniors over 62 years old per session. Towel rentals are $5. You may bring your own towel. Lockers are available, but locks are not provided. Children under the age of 4 may only access the smallest hot spring pool and the swimming pool.
- Caution: Wildlife including bears and raccoons frequent the area. All food and coolers (regardless of contents) must kept in approved animal proof containers.
- Pets must be kept on a leash up to 6 feet in length at all times. Pets are not allowed on National Park trails at any time.
- No loud music or sound (including generators) between the hours of , and .
- Please verify you know your site prior to arrival. If you have any questions or concerns, speak with the front desk at the resort or the camp host.
- The National Park Service charges entrance fees at the entrance station on Sol Duc Road. Refer to the park Fees and Passes page.
- Don't Move Firewood: Help protect our forests! Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site. Moving firewood is illegal in some states. Visit dontmovefirewood.org to learn more.
