Had RV camp 27 on loop A which is not suitable for large RV (and very angled parking area)

The Loop A & B campgrounds are beautiful! We were grateful to get a last minute spot in Loop A as our original spot was in the RV portion of the park. The RV specific campground was pretty awful. Zero privacy and no bathrooms. Only positive is that it is walking distance to the springs.

We enjoyed our stay at the Sol Duc Campground. It was very quiet, and our site was nicely shaded. We enjoyed hiking the Lover's Lane Loop from the campground to Sol Duc Falls and back, and enjoyed the hot springs at the Sol Duc Resort. One note - there are no showers at the campground itself - you have to go to the resort to shower.

Price was too high for having zero amenities. You have to pay seperately for the Hot Springs, so camping price should not be higher. Hot Springs and swimming pool are clean, but your entrance fee gets you a 90 minute time slot in their schedule.

It’s a very pretty place up a winding valley in the forest. The grounds and the facilities are well maintained and the staff friendly. The Hot Springs pools are clean and had two lifeguards. There are several pools, each a different temperature. The bathrooms and changing rooms were modern and clean. Campgrounds were very nice and there were trails to the Hot Springs. There were also hiking trails for the more adventurous. The restaurant and the gift shop were a plus and very popular.

Hike from campground to falls was just right. I did it several days in a row just for the fun of it.

This was our favorite spot out of the three sites that we stayed at within Sol Duc. The pathway to the main resort was easy to navigate and the site provided plenty of privacy.

Sol Duc is in the northern part of Olympic National Park, 28 miles west of Port Angeles and west of Lake Crescent.

3 hours from Victoria, BC
From the east: From Port Angeles, take Hwy. 101 west for 29 miles, then turn left onto Sol Duc Hot Springs Rd and travel 12 miles to Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort.
From the south: From Forks, take Hwy. 101 north for 28 miles then turn right onto Sol Duc Hot Springs Rd and travel 12 miles to Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort.
The campground is accessed via State Route 101, which is approximately 20 miles to the south.

Policies & Rules
General
- The Mineral Hot Springs & Pool access will be in sessions:8:00 AM - 9:30 AM10:00 AM - 11:30 AM12:00 PM - 1:30 PM2:00 PM - 3:30 PM4:00 PM - 5:30 PM6:00 PM - 7:30 PM2026 pool access fees are $19 for adults, $15 for children ages 4-12 and $15 for seniors over 62 years old per session. Towel rentals are $5. You may bring your own towel. Lockers are available, but locks are not provided. Children under the age of 4 may only access the smallest hot spring pool and the swimming pool.
- Caution: Wildlife including bears and raccoons frequent the area. All food and coolers (regardless of contents) must kept in approved animal proof containers.
- Pets must be kept on a leash up to 6 feet in length at all times. Pets are not allowed on National Park trails at any time.
- No loud music or sound (including generators) between the hours of , and .
- Please verify you know your site prior to arrival. If you have any questions or concerns, speak with the front desk at the resort or the camp host.
- The National Park Service charges entrance fees at the entrance station on Sol Duc Road. Refer to the park Fees and Passes page.
- Don't Move Firewood: Help protect our forests! Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site. Moving firewood is illegal in some states. Visit dontmovefirewood.org to learn more.
