We really, really enjoyed Sol Duc! Our campground was absolutely magical with lots of space and many options to explore. The Springs Pool was awesome and a great option for showering. We’ve camped many national parks and this was one of our favorite

Sites felt private surrounded by huge beautiful trees. The heated bathrooms were a plus!

The camp host at Loop B was awesome. Super helpful directing us to one of the last FCFS sites available on a Saturday night. The campground is insanely beautiful and peaceful. Can’t wait to stay there again.

We were in site 29/Loop A (pull through). The site was listed for a 36' trailer with a 58' driveway. What they didn't say was how narrow the roads in the campground were, how close the trees were to the road, as well as your neighbors. The driveway sloped both front and rear making it hard to level. We're a 32' TT pulled with a 22' truck - so we fit, barely. The site was close to the main road heading towards the Hot Springs, so there was noise from it during the daytime. The trees were so thick, we got little sun and very limited Starlink use. It was very pretty and we did enjoy the Sol Duc Falls hike.

Plan out your trip well the park is very big, so having your hikes mapped out is best. I think this is a good central and quiet place to stay!

They call this an RV court, and it really is, RV's are very close together, ours was next to a V parking, so we had a larger area. BUT behind all the sites are woods and lots of room to run around! Water and Electric worked very well, The dump station is very close. The campground is very close to the hot springs. You can hear some of the kids playing there. We very much enjoyed it! Trash and recycle on site, cleared daily

Sol Duc is in the northern part of Olympic National Park, 28 miles west of Port Angeles and west of Lake Crescent.

From the east: From Port Angeles, take Hwy. 101 west for 29 miles, then turn left onto Sol Duc Hot Springs Rd and travel 12 miles to Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort.
From the south: From Forks, take Hwy. 101 north for 28 miles then turn right onto Sol Duc Hot Springs Rd and travel 12 miles to Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort.
The campground is accessed via State Route 101, which is approximately 20 miles to the south.

Policies & Rules
General
- The Mineral Hot Springs & Pool access will be in sessions:8:00 AM - 9:30 AM10:00 AM - 11:30 AM12:00 PM - 1:30 PM2:00 PM - 3:30 PM4:00 PM - 5:30 PM6:00 PM - 7:30 PM2026 pool access fees are $19 for adults, $15 for children ages 4-12 and $15 for seniors over 62 years old per session. Towel rentals are $5. You may bring your own towel. Lockers are available, but locks are not provided. Children under the age of 4 may only access the smallest hot spring pool and the swimming pool.
- Caution: Wildlife including bears and raccoons frequent the area. All food and coolers (regardless of contents) must kept in approved animal proof containers.
- Pets must be kept on a leash up to 6 feet in length at all times. Pets are not allowed on National Park trails at any time.
- No loud music or sound (including generators) between the hours of , and .
- Please verify you know your site prior to arrival. If you have any questions or concerns, speak with the front desk at the resort or the camp host.
- The National Park Service charges entrance fees at the entrance station on Sol Duc Road. Refer to the park Fees and Passes page.
- Don't Move Firewood: Help protect our forests! Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site. Moving firewood is illegal in some states. Visit dontmovefirewood.org to learn more.
