Campground bathroom and water spot were nice. Loop B #63 is rough, needs improvement. The pavement was level enough but the slope behind the site is eroding down into the pavement making the usable paved surface smaller. This site was a little challenging to back in a trailer due to large trees on the street.

Fantastic and clean camp site. Beautiful 1/2 mile walk along the river to the bath house. We didn't have time for the 6 mi RT hike to the falls - we'll have to come back!

Great location! Facilities were clean and everything was easy to find. The camp host, Christian, was friendly and helpful with making sure all questions were answered. The spot I stayed at was a bit secluded which was nice. There isn’t a bear storage box immediately on my spot but I didn’t need one as much as a larger group might or one staying longer. Overall great experience!

We stayed in site 55 in loop B. The sites are well spread out and GORGEOUS!! Bring your own method of cutting wood- when we visited they were out of firewood. The drive is beautiful and the sites are super well maintained.

Ranger was professional and respectful. The restroom a facilities were clean. Camp sites are well kept and maintained. Very relaxing and peaceful, beautiful views. We would definitely come back here again .

The facilities were poorly taken care of. The dump station was broken in peak season. Rick’s on main road from a fall sat for days without being removed. The staff working the hot springs were unsupervised. Meaning the life guard was on her phone and taking to another kid the whole time. Walk off to talk to a friend at a different part of the facility. Bathrooms at the springs had trash and clogged drains. Pretty gross. Bathrooms throughout the park were pretty terrible. Lake Crescent had porta potties so full you couldn’t use them. When I approached a ranger he was very rude and I led us that’s what we get deal with it. This was the worst maintained national park I have ever been to.

Wonderful campground with relatively private sites. Friendly staff was helpful in extending our stay. Hot springs were very refreshing. We will return again

Sol Duc is in the northern part of Olympic National Park, 28 miles west of Port Angeles and west of Lake Crescent.
3 1/2 hours from Seattle

3 hours from Victoria, BC
From the east: From Port Angeles, take Hwy. 101 west for 29 miles, then turn left onto Sol Duc Hot Springs Rd and travel 12 miles to Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort.
From the south: From Forks, take Hwy. 101 north for 28 miles then turn right onto Sol Duc Hot Springs Rd and travel 12 miles to Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort.
The campground is accessed via State Route 101, which is approximately 20 miles to the south.

Policies & Rules
General
- The Mineral Hot Springs & Pool access will be in sessions:8:00 AM - 9:30 AM10:00 AM - 11:30 AM12:00 PM - 1:30 PM2:00 PM - 3:30 PM4:00 PM - 5:30 PM6:00 PM - 7:30 PM2026 pool access fees are $19 for adults, $15 for children ages 4-12 and $15 for seniors over 62 years old per session. Towel rentals are $5. You may bring your own towel. Lockers are available, but locks are not provided. Children under the age of 4 may only access the smallest hot spring pool and the swimming pool.
- Caution: Wildlife including bears and raccoons frequent the area. All food and coolers (regardless of contents) must kept in approved animal proof containers.
- Pets must be kept on a leash up to 6 feet in length at all times. Pets are not allowed on National Park trails at any time.
- No loud music or sound (including generators) between the hours of , and .
- Please verify you know your site prior to arrival. If you have any questions or concerns, speak with the front desk at the resort or the camp host.
- The National Park Service charges entrance fees at the entrance station on Sol Duc Road. Refer to the park Fees and Passes page.
- Don't Move Firewood: Help protect our forests! Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site. Moving firewood is illegal in some states. Visit dontmovefirewood.org to learn more.
