The site was beautiful! The bathrooms are very clean and the camp host Rebecca was so helpful and friendly! Our 23’ RV fit just perfect and the view of the forest and the sound of the river is so magical.

it felt like they shoved as many campsites into the area as possible - you will def see and hear your neighbours. minimal tree coverage for privacy between campsites. bathrooms were clean though and there was soap. the actual campsites were good

These campgrounds have running water and flushing toilets. Well maintained campsites. Site 17 was right next to 16, but luckily our neighbors left early. 17 has a long, drive through parking. Hot springs lodge have showers and a regular temp pool. General store doesn’t stock ground coffee! Park entry, campsite, and hot springs fees add up!

I spent a session in the pools and enjoyed both the cold water pool and the hot springs. The campground was adjacent to the resort and within walking distance. It had water and electricity but no restrooms. I had a portable toilet with me but restrooms were really needed. For the price of the campsite, there should have been a restroom.

I went to Sol Duc to go camping but as it ended up I needed some rehab for my lower back and shoulder. The hot springs were just what I needed and spent a lot of time in the springs. I think it helped a lot. Enjoyed what little hiking I could do and get in. I ended up in a walk-in campsite which was a little of a burden with my back but it worked out. Nice campground and lots to do if you like hiking.

Staying at the Sol Duc Campground was the perfect way to spend my week on the Olympic Peninsula. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to camp during their time in this area!

The campground is beautiful! However, the road around the campground is narrow with some very tight squeezes for larger vehicles/trailers. Our campsite 24, loop A said it was 35feet. However, it was almost impossible to get our 30ft trailer into the spot because of how narrow the road is/trying to back into the site.

Beautiful tree covered campground. The site had a decent amount of space between them so we had privacy between us and our neighbors.
Bathrooms were kept clean and stocked. Camping ground host was friendly. They sell firewood onsite.

Sol Duc is in the northern part of Olympic National Park, 28 miles west of Port Angeles and west of Lake Crescent.

From the east: From Port Angeles, take Hwy. 101 west for 29 miles, then turn left onto Sol Duc Hot Springs Rd and travel 12 miles to Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort.
From the south: From Forks, take Hwy. 101 north for 28 miles then turn right onto Sol Duc Hot Springs Rd and travel 12 miles to Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort.
The campground is accessed via State Route 101, which is approximately 20 miles to the south.

Policies & Rules
General
- The Mineral Hot Springs & Pool access will be in sessions:8:00 AM - 9:30 AM10:00 AM - 11:30 AM12:00 PM - 1:30 PM2:00 PM - 3:30 PM4:00 PM - 5:30 PM6:00 PM - 7:30 PM2026 pool access fees are $19 for adults, $15 for children ages 4-12 and $15 for seniors over 62 years old per session. Towel rentals are $5. You may bring your own towel. Lockers are available, but locks are not provided. Children under the age of 4 may only access the smallest hot spring pool and the swimming pool.
- Caution: Wildlife including bears and raccoons frequent the area. All food and coolers (regardless of contents) must kept in approved animal proof containers.
- Pets must be kept on a leash up to 6 feet in length at all times. Pets are not allowed on National Park trails at any time.
- No loud music or sound (including generators) between the hours of , and .
- Please verify you know your site prior to arrival. If you have any questions or concerns, speak with the front desk at the resort or the camp host.
- The National Park Service charges entrance fees at the entrance station on Sol Duc Road. Refer to the park Fees and Passes page.
- Don't Move Firewood: Help protect our forests! Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site. Moving firewood is illegal in some states. Visit dontmovefirewood.org to learn more.
