Campsites were clean and felt private, the picnic tables and fire pits were in great condition, restrooms were clean. Access to the hot springs resort and the Sol Duc Falls trail was easy. Really Beautiful!

26, loop A was a beautiful little spot tucked away but near to the restrooms. We were new to the area and found the ground harder than expected. Thanks to a trusty nearby rock the tent stakes went into the ground easy. The local squirrels were bold but other than that no noise from the local wildlife.

Great site - the woods add privacy. My site was right next to a trail from the campground to Sol Duc falls. It's ~2.8 miles one way, so longer than the trail to the falls from the main trailhead, but I had it to myself for the first 2 miles. Super pleasant to fall asleep to the sound of the creek as well. No check-in required with online reservation and the bathrooms were clean.

Campsite was not the best, but we had a great time! The hike to the falls via Lovers Lane was wonderful with lots of interesting plants, trees and birds.
The hot springs is nice, but a little pricey. Being seniors, it would have been helpful to know the protocol for how long to stay in the pools etc.
Overall it was a very positive experience and we will definitely be back!

We loved the hikes in the area and seeing the waterfall. The hot springs were a great treat after a long hike. The hot pools then the cold pool felt wonderful on our arching muscles. Our campsite was clean and very quiet.

Campground as others have said, is a parking lot but it is also surrounded by trees so feels really lovely behind your RV. Biggest downside is there are no facilities in the lot so no bathroom and no laundry in the nearby resort either.

We were tent camping and had a very pleasant stay at this campground. Reservation process and check in were super easy. Everything it was nice and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Sol Duc is in the northern part of Olympic National Park, 28 miles west of Port Angeles and west of Lake Crescent.
3 1/2 hours from Seattle

From the east: From Port Angeles, take Hwy. 101 west for 29 miles, then turn left onto Sol Duc Hot Springs Rd and travel 12 miles to Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort.
From the south: From Forks, take Hwy. 101 north for 28 miles then turn right onto Sol Duc Hot Springs Rd and travel 12 miles to Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort.
The campground is accessed via State Route 101, which is approximately 20 miles to the south.

Policies & Rules
General
- The Mineral Hot Springs & Pool access will be in sessions:8:00 AM - 9:30 AM10:00 AM - 11:30 AM12:00 PM - 1:30 PM2:00 PM - 3:30 PM4:00 PM - 5:30 PM6:00 PM - 7:30 PM2026 pool access fees are $19 for adults, $15 for children ages 4-12 and $15 for seniors over 62 years old per session. Towel rentals are $5. You may bring your own towel. Lockers are available, but locks are not provided. Children under the age of 4 may only access the smallest hot spring pool and the swimming pool.
- Caution: Wildlife including bears and raccoons frequent the area. All food and coolers (regardless of contents) must kept in approved animal proof containers.
- Pets must be kept on a leash up to 6 feet in length at all times. Pets are not allowed on National Park trails at any time.
- No loud music or sound (including generators) between the hours of , and .
- Please verify you know your site prior to arrival. If you have any questions or concerns, speak with the front desk at the resort or the camp host.
- The National Park Service charges entrance fees at the entrance station on Sol Duc Road. Refer to the park Fees and Passes page.
- Don't Move Firewood: Help protect our forests! Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site. Moving firewood is illegal in some states. Visit dontmovefirewood.org to learn more.
