Our site 059, Loop B was spacious and beautiful. Plenty of space for 2 tents with room to explore, hammock spots, and trails to the creek. This site is also immediately next to the trail head of the longer trail to the falls. I would choose this site again - its at the end of the loop so it felt more private than some. Easy access to bathrooms which were clean and well stocked. There was soap and outlets in the bathrooms which was very much appreciated! Camp host was present and friendly. Short drive to resort with small market, (not so great) restaurant, and hot spring pools with showers.

Such a fantastic campground! We really enjoyed our stay and the ability to check out Sol Duc Falls from a trail that started in the campground. The amount of trees made a shade cover not necessary even in the middle of June. We also loved how easy it was to walk through the campgrounds to the resort. The bathrooms were also quite fantastic, not vault toilets, righteous flush toilets. We highly suggest the Mink Lake trail that started from the resort area.

My first campsite was not good, just a sloped parking spot with a hill down to the picnic table and fire ring, and a log was blocking the path. I have bad knees and that was not going to work for me. I finally found a camp host who helped me get a flatter space. Luckily a family wanted to move their site so I moved to theirs for one night and was able to move to another flat one for the second night. It worked out, but it was touch and go for a bit.

We had an RV site and it was just a parking lot with hook ups. There were no restrooms anywhere near the RV sites as in at least 1/4 mile away. No showers, no bathrooms. $65 for a site with no restrooms anywhere around is insane. I would have just stayed without electric at the regular campground had I known

The hike to Sol Duc falls is the only amazing part of my stay. It was a very well maintained hike with healthy looking trees, flowers, and plants. We saw NO Banana Slugs. The campground trees; as well as, the trees along the entrance roads looked unhealthy. The worst thing was that there are NO US Park Rangers and it shows! There are NO Ranger Talks, or Rangers checking the campgrounds and campers, their offices are closed and empty. The Hot Springs are obscenely, overwhelming busy. Its altogether sad.

Beautifil campground with spacious sites. Clean bathrooms. Easy 1 mile walk to hot springs and showers. Nice hike to the falls back and forth or doing a loop via falls and hot springs.

RV court was nothing more than a cramped parking lot with water/electric. Thankfully we arrived before campers across from us did so backing in was only moderately difficult. Hooking back up, another story, very tight when both rows full. That said, it had some good qualities. The very short walk to hot springs was great! The fire-pit/picnic area was facing the trees so we had a nice view and a short walk to the rocky river. Short drive to Trails. Once you pass the ranger station, you will be without cell service & no WiFi at campground, so plan accordingly.

Campground as others have said, is a parking lot but it is also surrounded by trees so feels really lovely behind your RV. Biggest downside is there are no facilities in the lot so no bathroom and no laundry in the nearby resort either.

Sol Duc is in the northern part of Olympic National Park, 28 miles west of Port Angeles and west of Lake Crescent.

From the east: From Port Angeles, take Hwy. 101 west for 29 miles, then turn left onto Sol Duc Hot Springs Rd and travel 12 miles to Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort.
From the south: From Forks, take Hwy. 101 north for 28 miles then turn right onto Sol Duc Hot Springs Rd and travel 12 miles to Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort.
The campground is accessed via State Route 101, which is approximately 20 miles to the south.

Policies & Rules
General
- The Mineral Hot Springs & Pool access will be in sessions:8:00 AM - 9:30 AM10:00 AM - 11:30 AM12:00 PM - 1:30 PM2:00 PM - 3:30 PM4:00 PM - 5:30 PM6:00 PM - 7:30 PM2026 pool access fees are $19 for adults, $15 for children ages 4-12 and $15 for seniors over 62 years old per session. Towel rentals are $5. You may bring your own towel. Lockers are available, but locks are not provided. Children under the age of 4 may only access the smallest hot spring pool and the swimming pool.
- Caution: Wildlife including bears and raccoons frequent the area. All food and coolers (regardless of contents) must kept in approved animal proof containers.
- Pets must be kept on a leash up to 6 feet in length at all times. Pets are not allowed on National Park trails at any time.
- No loud music or sound (including generators) between the hours of , and .
- Please verify you know your site prior to arrival. If you have any questions or concerns, speak with the front desk at the resort or the camp host.
- The National Park Service charges entrance fees at the entrance station on Sol Duc Road. Refer to the park Fees and Passes page.
- Don't Move Firewood: Help protect our forests! Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site. Moving firewood is illegal in some states. Visit dontmovefirewood.org to learn more.
