What Guests Are Saying
The Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort Campground offers a beautiful setting with clean and well-maintained facilities, including restrooms and ample hiking opportunities nearby. Many visitors appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and spacious, semi-private campsites surrounded by nature. However, some noted concerns about noise from generators, a lack of amenities in the RV section, and the additional costs for using the hot springs, which could detract from the overall experience.

There are no bathrooms/showers at the RV parking area. We were initially assigned a slot that was too small for our trailer but thankfully were given a larger one and later found out it messed up reservations for others which we felt terrible about. The Hot Springs pools were cloudy. They did not feel clean. You expect a sulfur smell but it’s extra here. We made the best of it and day tripped to other areas and saw beautiful country.

Fire ban was in effect so nights were cold. We had site Loop B 41. It’s small and has almost no level ground. Almost nowhere to pitch a tent. We walked the loop and saw many fine campsites all occupied or reserved. Our site B41 and adjacent site B40 are clearly the worst and are unacceptable. We made the best of it and enjoyed the magnificent old growth forests. Mushroom foraging was stellar. Watch out for the marauding blue jays at the campground. They’’ll steal food out of your hands.

We had a beautiful campsite in the old growth forest. So quiet and serene.

Was really excited about visiting this place but it unfortunately didn’t feel sanitary at all. The pools looked like they hadn’t been cleaned anytime recently and the smell of sulphur was so strong (mineral pools…). Bathrooms were disgusting with nowhere to hang anything when showering before/after. Very disappointed and would not recommend

The campsites were very unlevel. We couldn’t get our van leveled. We’ve never had this issue before.

We stayed in the RV area, which is an unattractive parking lot where everyone is crowded together. It is unacceptable that there are no bathrooms there.

It was an asphalt parking and no restrooms. Terrible

Beautiful campground with huge, mossy old growth trees, hiking trails starting right in the campground, great camp host, clean bathrooms, great tasting water, and only a half mile to the hot springs.
