We were honestly a bit nervous at first because of some of the reviews, but we’re so glad we decided to give this place a chance.

Yes, the road in is bumpy and narrow, but it adds to the adventure—and once you arrive, it’s totally worth it. The campsites are well spread out (10+ total), so you get plenty of privacy. There’s one main bathroom in a trailer, and to our surprise, it was cleaner than many other camping sites we've been to. We were perfectly comfortable with it.

We do wish there were more updated and accurate photos online. The limited photos made us unsure of what to expect, but everything looked much better in person.

If you’re not into camping, this might not be your vibe. But if you do enjoy camping, this is a more elevated, “glamping-style” experience. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and waking up surrounded by forest and fresh air was the best part.

Highly recommend—just go in with realistic expectations, and you’ll have a great time!

I don’t quite understand the negative comments. If you're expecting glamping or something luxurious, this is not the place for you. It has typical sanitary facilities of a campground – of course the floor is dirty if people walk in from the ground outside with their shoes. There was hot water, you just have to pull a cord. Our tent was clean, including the bed linen. There were chairs you could also place outside. You can expect a campsite where you don’t need your own tent and can sleep in a comfortable bed.
A small tip for future guests and the host: more lighting would be great. Perhaps battery-operated lamps that give off more light, and maybe provide flashlights – or bring your own – otherwise it’s hard to find anything at night. In our case, the solar-powered lamps didn’t charge properly during the day because of the trees. It would also be nice if towels were provided.
We enjoyed our stay, but we paid 85$ - a little bit too much for what you get.

Customer beware, this place looks nothing like the photos. The tents are covered in dead bugs, bird poop, and mold. The bed was comfortable and definitely better than an air mattress on the ground. The bathroom was better than a pit toilet, and the shower had some warm water. (The bathroom and showers are a trailer and they do not provide towels) This place is near lake crescent (where I wanted to be) and enough away from 101 to not hear hwy noise, but is hard to find (even w GPS coordinates) it took 3 passes on 101 to get right. There is no drinking water available. There is no picnic table. We had to make our coffee on the ground a la backpacking style. Most people didn’t even try to have a meal here. Of serious concern is that there is no bear proof food storage or trash (and bags of trash are just piled behind the bathroom trailer) There is an on site attendant in the afternoon who has no authority to right wrongs, give refunds. We had about 1 bar of cell service to call the # to be told wander camp provided everything promised and no refunds (which wasn’t true because our tent had cheap linens, cheap chairs, no table, no solar lantern, no rug, and definitely not like the pics…)

We booked this place last minute on a whim and I was nervous based on reviews from google and other booking websites. I was pleasantly surprised when it was as it appeared in the photos! Beds were super comfortable with plenty of extra blankets and we were not cold at all. Tents were cute and bathrooms were very clean! At first we were told that there was not a host on site, but there was and he was very helpful and accommodating. This is maybe somewhere between a true glamping experience and camping. No electric or water to sites (water and on demand hot water at the bathrooms). Lantern was provided and there are solar walkway lanterns but they were not super bright. Very rugged terrain but nice and secluded. I would probably stay here again.

You're going to miss the turn if you're coming from Forks. They only have a sign for west bound travel out of Port Angeles and it's small and hidden in the brush. There was only a bed in the room unlike what they advertised in the photos. The facilities are a trailer and the lighting is all cheap solar powered garden stakes that don't work in a dense rain forest. There were puddles in the room and it was just such an unpleasant experience we cut our trip short a day just to get out of there.
