The camp host was awesome! He helped with everything. The lake was stunning but it was cold at the time so we hiked around it. We recommend arriving during daylight hours. The walk-in site was spacious and private. Our dog loved the chipmunks and they loved taunting her.

Beautiful large private sites for smaller RVs and tents set in lush rainforest by the reservoir. It is quite remote and not a good location for seeing Olympic NP. It’s best for a set up and stay camp. Flushing toilets. The camp host runs a tiny store with candy and soda. Hiking trails around.

Very nice campground! Pretty private sites in loop B. Very clean bathrooms and grounds. Helpful hosts. Great hikes nearby, though they are not all well signed. We would definitely go back!

Very quiet and peaceful. Bathrooms were clean. Note that there are No Showers. Also that you are about 45 minutes from Cell phone service and an hour away from a store for food. Be packed and prepared.

Coho campground is one of the nicest, most peaceful environments we've had the pleasure to enjoy and explore. The campground is lush making each site feel remote and private. Loved it and can't wait to head back.

Our site was very nice and a bit of a walk, but beautiful! Only issue we had was with our neighbors not having their dogs on leashes (it upset our dog). We didn't stay the whole time because of the rain but we had enough sunshine to jump in the lake!

From Route 12 via Montesano: Turn north on Wynoochee Valley Road, 1 mile west of Montesano. Drive 35 miles on Wynoochee Valley Road and Forest Road 22 to a major intersection. Turn left to stay on FR-22. Drive a short distance and turn right on Forest Road 2294. Drive 1 mile to the campground.
Coho Campground is accessible via Route 12, approximately 25 miles to the south. Access to Wynoochee Valley Road is available from Route 12.

97 mi drive to downtown Quilcene (about 2 hr 12 min)
Policies & Rules
General
- No commercial services available at Wynoochee Lake or Coho Campground; motorists should have sufficient fuel for the return trip.
- Reservation covers two licensed passenger vehicles and a maximum of 5 people at standard nonelectric sites; two vehicles includes any combination of passenger cars, trucks and/or recreational vehicles (boats and recreational trailers are not considered passenger vehicles); additional vehicles are $5/day to be paid within 30 minutes of arrival.
- Boat launch fee is $5; weekend boat launch permit is $5.

- Don't Move Firewood: Please protect Pacific Northwest forests by preventing the spread of invasive species.
