We had a nice weekend camping here, it’s nice, clean and quiet. I like that the rangers are there almost all day and sell quiet a few items. The fire ring though was useless, they made it so tall, that you can’t see the fire by sitting around it, you have to be standing, and also there is no breathers around it so it was really challenging to make fire in there.

We had a great time at Coho Campground! The "hike in" spots are still close to the parking and I would say they looked to be a little more seculuded than the drive in sites. The hike ins are also closer to the beach area. Camp host was amazing and brought candy around for the kiddos every evening, they also deliver ice and fire would for a decent price! Would definitly stay again! The only downside was the showers not being located in that campground but if you are desperate there are some not far down the road at the Satsop Center campground. (I would estimate 20 minute round trip drive to the shower) No cell service which is a blessing and a curse! It was amazing to be disconected but I didnt realize there was literally NO service up that way so make sure to send your texts and make your calls before you leave Montesano as you will not find one bar once you are headed out that way! ( Oh and maybe download some of your music to your phone if you plan to play any on your trip!)

Overall great expierence! We all had a blast!

we’ve been staying at the Coho Campground since it opened! This year I made reservations six months in advance but had trouble making them online. I hope it is fixed for our next reservation try’s because we adore this camp ground.
