Bathrooms were clean. Water easily accessible. Campgrounds were great! Lake is about a five minute walk away, with a downhill, rocky shore, but very beautiful! About an hour to three hour drive from different spots in Olympic National Park. This campground was totally worth it!

Loved the spacing between sites and all the trees and understory! Paved and easily accessible campsites. All campers seemed to adhere to the quiet hour rules!! Gorgeous Lake & Mountain View’s.

Nice campsite. Bathrooms were clean and never crowded. The lake was very low (early August) and a little industrial seeming but we had a nice swim. There's no service and it's far from stores but the camp hosts sell firewood and some food.
Unfortunately there was a large group flying a confederate flag during our stay. I think the hosts spoke with them but they did not take it down. I don't blame the hosts at all but it was uncomfortable for our mixed race group.

The campground host was the best, he answered every question that we had. The campground was very clean and well taken care of. We would definitely go back to the campground, we loved it!

Walk-in campsites were great, not too far of a walk from the parking lot, bathrooms were nice and clean. Plenty of space and lots of fun things to do.

Camp host was great. Well managed grounds. That’s where the positive feedback ends. It’s way too expensive for a campsite, in my opinion. There isn’t really a lot to do either. It’s pretty much the lake and driving to a waterfall or two. The hiking around the lake was blocked by a ton of fallen trees and foliage. My main complaint, which kind of ruins camping, was the other campers. It’s hard to enjoy camping when people are partying and being rowdy well into 1-2 in the morning practically every night. And some of these same campsites have limited decency during the day either. Unfortunately, there’s nobody that monitors or enforces anything, which I’ve found pretty common at Recreation.gov sites I’ve stayed at before. Essentially, it’s a camp where everyone brings their campers and treats it as their party spot.

We stayed at site 054 and it was an overall good and fun experience. The hosts are a good older couple who helped us find our site (there are numbers on signs/painted numbers at each site which we didn’t see at first so we walked around for a bit lol—also recommended finding your site first before hiking your stuff in); 054 is near the restrooms and lake which is convenient, the paved path to the lake is a small hike so we opted for a shortcut through the trees to get there faster. It’s not the most secluded spot as you can see and sometimes hear other campers as well as hear the flushing or hand dryer in the restrooms. There is a running water spout at the site and a drinking water spout closer to the restrooms; there was also firewood at the site already (still a good idea to bring some more or buy some from the hosts) although we stayed during the stage 2 fire restriction so no campfire :( The lake is quite rocky and a little difficult to traverse so I would recommend bringing water shoes if you plan on swimming but that being said, it is absolutely beautiful out there especially in the morning when there’s fog—literally breathtaking!! Also, despite not being very secluded, there’s still little critters and bugs who might get into your stuff so be careful about leaving things out, don’t let the cute little chipmunks fool you! We also took a stroll towards the dam and into the lookout where you could see the water rush out which was super epic! We would like to visit again but will probably choose a different site and when campfires are allowed again. Great spot if you’re hoping for easy access to facilities and activities.

Great bluff site. Quiet, peaceful and organized despite being fully booked. I wish I was still there.

It’s a reservoir. Not at all natural. Should’ve looked into it more. Ended up not staying even 1 minute. Perfectly fine if that your thing. But the water level was low and campground was meh.
