Great, quiet campground. Yurts are always nice to stay in, but the lake is very low right now making swimming and boating difficult from previous years.

Great hikes both in the campground as well as a short drive away. Very nice campground hosts. Garbage cans emptied regularly and campground was very clean. We had a very private site, and the forest was beautiful.

Beautiful large site (63) even a little view of the water through the trees and close to trail access. The other sites looks pretty spacious as well. Campground felt very safe, everything was clean.
I wish I had researched a little better prior to. Everything seems a bit sad, the lake is huge, but no boats were on it, no people swimming, well we walked down to the swimming area. So sad, tiny little roped off area and could visibly see dead trees in the swimming zone. Not an inviting looking area for a swim, and signs stating you can’t swim elsewhere. There’s apparently a few water falls but you have to walk 6ish miles (and back) to get to them if we were reading the limited trail info correctly. Signs aren’t clear. There was a state wide burn ban in effect during our stay, well it’s really discouraging to see the houses located just near the dam/day use area actively having a fire in their yard while we are cooking on a tiny propane stove. Seems like someone should be regulating the neighborhood nearby. Absolutely no cell service, which I didn’t mind too much, however with the poorly marked trails and trails maps a gps would have been helpful. Very curious if there is a way to drive and park near the waterfalls but no signs eluding to this. Tried to take a chance on a logging road that was active and had to turn around. The bathrooms were well kept, but no soap.
And most important thing I wish I looked into before hand, there are bathrooms with flush toilet but THERE IS NO SHOWERS. So you can’t swim. And no showers so was your hair in your dish water I guess. That’s what I did. I did like the campground quite a bit though I just won’t plan to use the lake as an area to rinse off next time. The swimming hole needs remeasured or re located to a usable place on the lake. Would have been nice to see more people. This place felt a little abandoned like a forgotten place that used to be something, but has fallen off the radar.

The campground is clean, and the spaces are a nice size and not too close to others. Easy to set up your trailer and level. The location and trails are very nice. We will be returning in the near future.

Very loud, close sites. Luckily the noise eased up by 10, but expect music and kids screaming from multiple sites on a busy night.

Really enjoyed this campsite. Lots of space between sites, very green, neighbors respectful, bathrooms were clean and atmosphere was enjoyable. It's too bad a rain storm was rolling in later that second day, and the fire ban was still in effect. Nothing the site admins could've done better - all environmental and circumstantial. Saw a lot of reserved sites not used at all, because of the above mentioned I'd imagine. Pity we didn't have an RV like those that did show up.
