The yurt (#50) was really cute, as described by others. It was fun to listen to all the different woodland creatures- the owl, the squirrels, other birds, and the chipmunks. There was a peek-a-boo view of the lake, but an easy access trail to get to it. The bathrooms weren't too far away, but the path is unlit, so you will need to wait for your eyes to adjust or carry a small flashlight. The path does have you walking by other campers, so we were extra conscientious about our light and being quiet. The camp host was AMAZING. He was friendly, nice to talk to, and very helpful. If I could ask for one change, we would have liked to be able to open the top of the yurt to let in more airflow. Overall, I loved the experience and would go back.

The campsite was awesome! There was a lot of forest within the camping area for the kids to explore and lots of edible berries. Not many mosquitoes.

The downside was that the beach had large pointy rocks and kiddos didn’t want to spend much time playing there. I think if we had not expected a beach we would not have been disappointed. It was really cool to drive over to the dam and see the displays about it history and construction.

Super clean campsites that are well marked! We did a hike-in spot and the walk to the campsite itself was not very long from the parking lot. Very private and we didn't hear noise from neighbors. We were so suprised to see that there were super clean bathrooms nearby with flushable toilets and a hand drier (and soap!). There was even little trashcans in the stalls for feminine products. Which is a luxury! We also loved how there was a trail super close by and the campground was very dog friendly. We will be back :)
